    Lego Star Wars Skywalker saga.

Probably one of the most polished Lego games I've ever played, it's pretty awesome and nostalgic since the Lego Star Wars games are super nostalgic to me.

River City Girls 2. I love this game. Played it at a friend's house til after 4am, and was too tired to drive home, so I crashed there. Then woke up at 10am, and we quickly resumed playing.

Made me feel like a kid again.

ARK Fjordur. I’ve played ARK off and on with friends for years, but I finally got around to building a new PC and it looks like a different game now. What surprises me about the game is how I never really get tired of it. There isn’t really a well-defined point to the game…just grinding for resources, building stuff, exploring and coming up with stupid stuff to do. Lol. The maps are impressively massive.

Just finished South Park Stick of Truth. Took me about 18 hours to finish it with about a 95% completion on friendsa and Chipokimon and about half of all the costumes and weapons.

All I can say is don't play this game when kids are around. When your shrunken character is having a boss fight with an underpants gnome while your parents are having sex...I mean...dear Lord.

I'm trying to replay DOOM 2016, but I'm in that depression state where I have to force myself to even do basic things, so it's not going well. :|

I lost my last life in Dracula's Curse, so I started over and used the HELPME code.

Just curious, which path did you take? The direction you take when the path branches can affect the difficulty. For example, the path where you meet Alucard is the hardest, since it has more levels and starts you at the very bottom of Dracula’s castle.

BTW, how did Super Metroid go? Did you complete it?

I took the paths to Sypha, and lost against the pirate ship boss.

I haven't picked up Super in a while.

Ok, so that is the easiest path (I shouldn’t say “easy” since that path is still no cakewalk…let’s just say “less difficult” ;)  ).
If memory serves, that boss is the Cyclops?
    *does quick internet check*
I was partly right, it’s a multi-boss fight against mummies and the cyclops. If it helps, Sypha’s flame magic can absolutely decimate the mummies.

This week I started playing Live-A-Live, and this is hands down going to become one of my favorite games of 2023.

Finished the Twilight Of Edo chapter, and if the rest of the chapters are as fun as this one, then the game may become one of my top favorite games ever.

The style, gameplay, and charm really make this gaming experience pop. Also I did not know there was voice acting, very unexpected but welcome surprise.

Recently purchased Samurai Shodown Neogeo Collection and Stray, but FTM they’ll have to take a back seat to Horizon Forbidden West, which I’m still working on and is still great (except for one very clear reference to modern-day politics that had no place in the game’s world and made me roll my eyes).

Haven’t played my new Genesis Mini 2 much so far. Completed the first stage of Revenge of Shinobi with no problem. Easily got to the first boss in Shadow Dancer, a game I used to beat regularly 30 years ago, and promptly got my ass destroyed by the boss

I remember completing the game, many, many, many years ago with each of the three, and I found that the Alucard ending was the easiest (HE CAN FLY OMG), followed closely by completing it with Grant (HE CAN JUMP FAR OMG). Sypha was definitely the hardest because eventually all you could do was tank it with her powers, and hope for the best.
