3rd or 5th time seems to be the charm with getting into GTA V Online (I played through the story with my PS3 version, and bought the Steam one last year, but never tried learning it). I've mostly been taking advantage of the stuff that came with the "Criminal Enterprise Starter Kit" that came with the Steam bundle I bought on sale and some bonuses from hooking up my Amazon Prime account. I'm not very good at it, but finding some niches, The businesses have been fairly fun so far, but the jury's still out on his I'll dedicate some time to this after Holiday Break's over with. My own complaint is you can't buy the Vanilla Unicorn strip club in Online, but I guess they're respecting that Trevor owns it in-universe. Speaking of Trevor, still slowly replaying the story, I'm in the opinion it was a great satire of the mid-2010's and the post Recession era America, and was the first GTA I finished, so it's like revisiting old friends.

I started the Definitive Edition of Vice City today. So far I've collected 41 packages, did the ambulance and fire truck missions on top of knocking out a bunch of stunt jumps and a few others side missions. I have to say that the new controls really made the fire truck and ambulance missions so much easier, though, I am constantly hitting L1 to change the radio station instead of the right button on the d-pad, so I've wasted a bunch of bullets while driving. That aside, the game remains as fun as always. Graphically, I love the way the lighting looks, especially all of the neon lights along the hotels by the beach.

Ultimate Admirals added Fhrench pre-dreadnoughts to the beta build. Now I can build the fugliest possible battleships with a bonus of taking all the possible gun calibers and sticking them onto every available free space on the hull.

Be like Decepticon Misfire. All the firepower, none the accuracy.

If you aren't paying for the ammo, it's like Gretzky said: "You miss 100% of the shots you never take."

My friends got me playing a PC game called Tower Unite, it's basically Gmod but way more modern, it gives me heavy ready player one vibes as you can be anyone you want in a virtual world.

Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don't Dry
Larry wakes up in modern day after being frozen for 30 years. Pokes fun of Tinder, Instagram, Uber, etc. Still trying to get my first score. But logic puzzles are fun.

DKC2- I've been replenishing my lives for Toxic Tower. Maybe I'll finally be able to beat it after all these years.

Alternating between Smash and Monster Hunter Rise. I do wish I could have had the talking cat sidekicks get into the brawl and beat up Mario, but having what we have is good as is :)

Started the Outer Worlds - the story is good, but the gameplay oddly makes me motion sick. Even VR doesn't do that. I'm playing it on a PS5, so it might be just a matter of getting my legs in the game. I just might bail on it.

So, instead, while I was cooking dinner, I popped in The Last of Us 2.

So I got Friday the 13th on the Switch despite not having an online account because it was only $4.99. Hard to beat that.

The game is meant to be multiplayer, but it does have a single player mode, so I figured that would at least be worth checking out.

Well it sucks. You start off with only a couple Jason’s unlocked, and the single player mode doesn’t let you keep any of the experience you’ve earned. So forget about unlocking anyone or anything else. The bot-controlled counselors are woefully inept, allowing me to score kills without much effort. One counselor got caught on a phone pole and kept running in place. I let it run in place until it finally got free, because I felt bad for how easy it was.

Oh, and I guess they just assumed that no one would want to play as a counselor. Single player mode is all Jason, all the time.

Gonna check out the challenge mode & hopefully I’ll get to keep any experience from that. Still can’t play as a counselor for any of those.

Definitely going to have to get an online account to play this game properly. Just disappointed that so little effort was put into the single player mode.

The gameplay itself of stalking around and being Jason is fun though. No gripes there.

Wife got me the Spyro trilogy for Christmas. So I’ve been playing through that. I never played them originally as I didn’t have the ps1,(I had gone with the sega Saturn) but I’m really enjoying them. My daughter has been glued to them too. She’s going through a dragon phase. Lol
