Had a friend recently realize he's still been paying for our old Conan: Exiles server so we all downloaded the Island of Siptah expansion and are getting back into it. We used to stay up for hours playing that game and having so much fun.

 

I just started playing NieR:Automata, I'm really enjoying it so far plus the game is stunning.

 

I FINALLY had the chance to play some Judgment today and finsihed out Chapter 3.

 

Playing Immortals fenyx rising. Made my character look like Icarus while pretending its the new Kid Icarus.
Having so much fun with it i told my date I was sick so I could stay home and play it.

With the announcement of Sunbreak, I'm heading back to Monster Hunter Rise and doing a playthrough with the lance. I've never been fond of defensively inclined weapons, but no harm in branching out. If nothing else, defeating an almighty snake god of hurricane and thunder by repeatedly poking it should make for a laugh

 

Playing Fist of the North Star : Lost Paradise!

Tbh I thought it would be a Yakuza rip-off but I’m pleasantly surprised at how much I’m enjoying the game.

Basically it seems to be it’s the re-telling of the Fist of the North Star.

 

It's done by the same studio as Yakuza and uses the Dragon Engine they have been using since 6.

 

Monster Hunter: Rise

I've never played anything from this series before and it's all kinda overwhelming (every button brings up a whole new menu, guh), so I've been taking it slow in the free-play Expedition missions.

 

Thanks man! I haven’t played Yakuza 6 yet even though I bought it a few months back. I think I’ll play “Lost Paradise” first…I like the Hokuto no Ken franchise more.

 

I thought Kakarot was available for this Switch when I bought the system a year ago. I Didn't know it was actually happening until I saw it on the shelf today. I'm about 30 min in.

 

It Takes Two is an amazing and immersive platformer, and it probably is the best mandatory 2 player co-op game I've ever played.

 

Zelda BotW - have three hearts on the second row and beat my second Legendary beast. Beat the water and air ones.

edit: Well tried doing the thieves den but those one shot kills keep getting me. Now i went to Death Mountain and got flame armor. Yay. Time to explore there.

 

I have recently been emerging myself in Hades and finally got my first escape today.

The game initially felt a little too chaotic and frantic as well as having too many stats, menus and logos confusing the hell out of me but I think I’ve finally managed to figure out how most of this game works as I’ve occasionally had duo, heroic and legendary boons.

The games combat is noticeably the star of the show here as whilst some of the weapons feel easier to pick up and play than the others they all seem equally viable and balanced to use.

The level of detail in the character interaction is pretty staggering for a game of this type as those voice actors must have spent a long long time to make this.

The only slight downside is it feels like it could do with some more levels in my opinion as getting to pick between whole levels like in dead cells would give your runs some much needed variety. Perhaps dlc will eventually accommodate me with this as well as some extra boons, weapons and enemies to spice up the formula a little.

 

Finally beat the first drone race of Judgment, which allowed me to access this dude that place QR codes all along the city and did that. Then I finished Chapter 6 and did more side missions at the start of Chapter 7. This game is taking me forever to get through, but I am enjoying it.

 

Right, gotta get back to Smash Bros and practice fighting all the spiky-haired pretty boys with swords in preparation for the newcomer.

 

Beat three Devine beasts on BotW. Just the desert one left.

 

Dragon Quest XI

My party got to the magical Mcguffin tree and the big bad bag of dicks, Sir Jasper and his boss showed up to wreck the place. Everyone got sent to the four corners of Erdrea, Sylvando did a few things and brightened the day for Gallopolis, Gondolia, and Hotto (because he's great like that), Jade helped kick some monster ass at Octagonia, and now I'm in Episode: Erik because Dragon Quest 11 needed to be Final Fantasy XV but better.

 

I’m currently very into Returnal. Clear game of the year for me. Possibly the most “next gen” game released so far, super tight gameplay, and a great sense of discovery.
