Sonic Colors Ultimate for Nintendo Switch and wow this game is really underwhelming. As some who loves the day time stages of unleashed, I figured Colors would be a game I enjoy.

Not so much. The game has too many 2D sections and whatever 3D sections you get are empty hall ways just for boost simple boosting. The whips power ups are just uninspired and not fun to use aside from laser. Sonic controls like ass at times. Honestly I enjoyed sonic forces more then this game.

BotW - trying to find all the memory locations. Yeesh some of this is nerve racking. Tried to get to two of the towers to scan the areas. One had laser guardians and it took 4-5 attempts to make it up. The second one is in the middle of a lake that has electric lizards and wizard guys around. I took a few out, but need to get tons of bomb arrows to kill them all. Will try later. I teleported away. Got a bunch of nice weapons now though.

I feel you on that. I was on the fence after trying the demo, but I’m now glad I got it. It’s very enjoyable to play and it also looks gorgeous (I’m playing on XSX).

Been giving "Conan: Exiles" another try. It's not an easy MMO to learn, and I'm still stuck trying to survive after the prologue, but it's interesting. It's one of those where I don't regret buying it on sale, try a little while, leave it alone, then come back again.

I really like that game. Got a bunch of the DLC's for it and went on a building spree.
    It's like Skyrim, with boobs.

I bought some of the DLC for it over time, including the Island expansion, and a few others like the mount and slave one. Still a learning curve for me, but I'll keep trying it out in the long run. I have considered Skyrim, have it in my Steam wishlist in case a sale comes up.

Skyrim is older but still excellent. Currently replaying it for the fifth time.

I remember AoC was just brutal on the player. Enemies would come from miles away to agro you and have you at a severe disadvantage. Seems like Funcom MO is make their games punishing difficult.

Battlefield 3 as a break from WoW. The Battlefield series has sort of sold itself as the realistic cousin of Call of Duty (both games are full of implausible shit) and while that does add to the atmosphere of the game it also makes surviving parts of it more an exercise in trial and error than skill.

For example, in one level you’re attempting to take a bank in Tehran and at one point there’s a very convenient sniper rifle. So the game is kind of pointing you towards this as the enemies are on high balconies and across a large open space: however the AI still has pin point accuracy through smoke and debris and other things that affect you and the game doesn’t even give you a decent place to setup a sniper’s nest. So it kind of fucks with you a bit.

I still check in nearly every day to do the daily event missions on Star Trek Online, lately I've been putting in more time since they've have a new update that has the first installment of a storyarc involving the Mirror Universe "Terran Empire" (Evil Starfleet) as the atagonists for a while, featuring Chase Masterson returning as the Mirror version of Leeta. Fun stuff.

Had a friend recently realize he's still been paying for our old Conan: Exiles server so we all downloaded the Island of Siptah expansion and are getting back into it. We used to stay up for hours playing that game and having so much fun.

With the announcement of Sunbreak, I'm heading back to Monster Hunter Rise and doing a playthrough with the lance. I've never been fond of defensively inclined weapons, but no harm in branching out. If nothing else, defeating an almighty snake god of hurricane and thunder by repeatedly poking it should make for a laugh
