Just got turned on to The Tragically Hip. I still need to be in a certain mood for most of the stuff I've heard so far, but it's nice to have a band with a large back catalog to dig into!
Nice As a Canadian, I can tell you that these guys are pretty much national treasures, and I'm sure all of us over 30-40 years old have probably seen them live at least 5-10 times in our lives. My favorite album of theirs will always be Fully Completely. That's when they really hit critical mass and became a mainstay band for many is in our late junior high / early high school days.
