Fear itself. Thats what I've been told I'm suppose to be afraid of.
we got a lake you'd hate, then. it's awesome for fishing and the scenery is gorgeous, but if you stick you hand into the water to say, your wrist, you can't see your fingertips.
and more than likely, you won't see what's about to eat them. (we got alligators, blackfish, and gar in there.)
but i know what you mean about the desolation of deep oceans. it's big, empty and you feel alone, yet you know something has to be nearby.
if i think a lot about it, there's places around here that give me that impression and gets creepy.
i can't swim, so i don't have to worry about going toe to toe with a great white.
i am afraid of heights, but i conquered that by avoiding airplanes, skydiving and that job working on the Golden Gate Bridge.
Heights is my main one, mostly because I've fallen off stuff a few times, one of which was really high. I went on the London Eye a couple of years ago and really didn't enjoy it, even though I was contained in that glass bubble.
Bees and wasps are another. Got stung in both my mouth and ear one time so I'm really not a fan.
Crowds put me off too. Especially crowds of rowdy people. Used to be I was a pub demon myself but these days I'd rather a quiet snug than a bustling bar.
And spiders. Spiders are scary....
The idea of that lake FREAKS ME OUT. I love the water, I really do... but the idea of not knowing what's underneath me.. ugh. Plus the lakes I've been in have snakes, and I am not cool with that. Snakes, I love you guys, but when you're in the water you're like 10x as creepy.
You know you love it.
And the Chupacabra...
The Only Thing We Have To Fear Is The Chupacabra
Anything over a 2-story man made building i get ancy, 5 stories i sleep nearest to the interior door and rarely look out the windows. It gets better if I take off my glasses since im nearsighted and really dont have the best depth preception. But ya put me on a mountain or overlooking a steep gorge Im fine and dandy.
The unknown. Nothing scares me more than that tbh.
I blame Poltergeist.
im not afraid of death. came near it 2 times and some religious experience some years have left me with a deeper understanding of death.
but what i do have a fear of is dead bodies. human or animal. i don't know why i just get really uneasy and get hallucinations.
i also have a fear of being left alone. or solitude. my mind plays tricks on me when im alone.
i noticed that tag, and i lol'd
Urgh...I have anxiety problems so lets see...
1.) The unknown (mainly death, I've had a few anxiety attacks while on that subject)
3.) Spiders (I'm fine if they're all the way across the room or if it's a grandaddy longleg that I see once in a while but once it gets to close or the last time I saw it was in my room and I can't find it, then I get freaked)
4.) Lobsters and crabs, crustaceans are just the insects and spiders of the sea, just bigger, creepier, and since they have shells, a lot harder to smash and kill.
5.) Drowning or Burning alive
7.) Being unforgiven, I hate being in a bad situation and I always apologize for it later if I realize I did something wrong but it keeps me up at night thinking bout it.
8.) Molestation/ pedophile- past experience, don't like to talk about it. Going to put that fragger in jail a month from now.
Otherwise I'll just get these weird feelings deep in my chest that something bad is going to happen and I don't really know what causes it :/
Ah I see now
Why is that in the tags, again?
Serves him right. Lock him up for life I say.
Another fear of mine is someone breaking into my house at night. I've also noticed that a couple of people's dogs and cats have been kidnapped too. Nothing like a metal baseball bat to take care of that kind of problem...
I'm scared of clowns, I really really hate clowns.
Deep water (that is too dark/murky to see the bottom of). I blame Ecco the Dolphin for this one.
I can think of a few more but I shouldn't reveal to many weaknesses lest it lead to some treacherous defeat at the hand of those who desire my downfall!
Lotion, Sun screen, and Sun burns.
- Spiders (damn those creepy, freaky, speedy ninja bastards to hell)
- Dying (losing both of my parents a year after the other will do that!)
- Aliens/Alien Abduction (i blame seeing sci-fi movies like "Fire in the Sky" when i was 7)
Separate names with a comma.
