Hey, I just want to know what your afraid of? This thread will not allow people to get persecuted about their own phobias and fears. For me i'm scared of Spiders. They're the creepiest ugliest creatures on the planet, I fear getting bitten by them and die from their venom.
I have a fear of open spaces. They drive me nuts - especially if it's a place with a high ceiling, i.e. a theater, a stadium, etc.
Wasps.. God I hate those horrible insects.. I have only been stung once in my life and that was from a bee.. Thinking that wasps will keep stinging you unlike a bee.. Do I need to say more?
creepy as spiders are, i tolerate them. But cockroaches i fear, hate, loathe and run from. they permeate everything. at a party once, i had one manage to get into my can of coke. i threw up for 3 days after that and for months, if i couldn't see what i was eating, i didn't eat. (lots of bottled water and food i inspected really well.) I love spiders now. too bad i can't pay spiders every time i see one hauling a roach off to hell... and those people that have pet "hissing" cockroaches or set records by stuffing as many as they can in their mouths deserve to be euthanized for being dangerously creepy, lol. sorry. I am really that scared of roaches.
I don't fear death anymore, I use to have an uncontrollable fear of spiders not so much these days; related? lol I do fear suffering emotional and physical tho.
Found a two-incher in my laundry room the other day. Sprayed that sucker with some raid and threw him outside. Big nasty sucker. And you know what? He survived! It got up and flew away once I threw him out. My only issue is how the heck did he get in my laundry room. Ugh, creepy.
As silly as this sounds, and I really can't help it, whenever I turn off all the lights in the basement for the night, I just have to rush up the stairs. I've been that way since I was a kid. This is also kind of silly, but I'm not all that fond of balloons of all things, but mostly because of the ear-shattering *POP!!!* they make if you stab 'em with a pencil or something sharp. I honestly get chills just thinking about it. I also hate, hate, HATE most kinds of insects and bugs and stuff, but mostly anything that stings, namely(especially) bees and wasps. (and yet I find myself wondering why Waspinator is my favorite character from Beast Wars...) Yeah, and death is pretty high up there too, I guess.
Hmm...upon serious consideration...I can't say I have any fear of anything that doesn't pose some sort of direct and/or immediate threat to me. Nothing frightens me purely in the abstract. Then again, scaring other people is something I've been doing for over a decade now. - Coeloptera
Spiders are the only thing I'm scared of thats real, but if I were to describe other things that many fear and are unexplainable, then it would have to be ghosts.
