I'd say pretty good eventuality. Nobody ever thought Fort Max would get a reissue, no reason the other bases won't!

Firehawc's right. The odds of any G1 figure originally made by takara/hasbro being reissued now are pretty good. They're doing the one that we all assumed was impossible, so anything could happen.

At this point I would say GOOD cause look at the fact we are getting a Fort Max. I also think since the Fort Max did so well that we will get OTHER reissues later down the line. Now for Hasbro to take notice to this all out blow out of what Fort Max did in pre-orders and THEY make some reissues in the form of a Commerative edition.

50/50, they did have the mold as far back as Beast Wars II. As long as they keep doing re-issues..... I'm sure it will happen eventually. But, I've been saying that about a Blue Bluestreak since the early 2000's.

    2. trypticon for vs metroplex
    3. dinobots everyone (many) are clammoring for

If Fort Max can be re issued and we can get a Straxus toy, then ANYTHING can happen.

this pretty much. certain things weren't fair game before, but with max being reissued, everything is back on the table.

it's a pretty cool time to be an encore fan, as we're approaching the 30th anniversary. really hoping we can see a scorpinok, typticon, and dinobots in the near future. I know that's really hopeful, but max was the biggest longshot on my personal list, and hes getting released next year.

    anything is possible now.

Not to mention, as far as I know we still haven't seen a mass-market re-issue of Thrust and Ramjet, though obviously those molds exist and it seems like a no-brainer. I think it's very hard to predict what will be re-issued and what won't.

It would be great if they reissued the Headmasters line.

We had Metroplex, now Fort Max. So hopefully we will see Trypticon or Scorponok next. I actually prefer the older G1 molds for the Citybots for my Classics section. If they ever do release a Classics version of any of these guys, they would probably alot smaller than the G1 counterparts.

Hasbro said a long time back that the Dinobot molds were broken, so they'd only get a release if they spent the money reverse engineering them. The Soundwave mold was also destroyed but they still had the Soundblaster one to work from.

Assuming Takara still has it since after BWII when they did Gigastorm. It could happen.

The only "soundblaster mold" is for the larger door on the chest. Other than that, it just uses a soundwave variant mold that had exposed hinges. They didn't make a whole new mold for soundblaster.

i still say that The Nemesis in TF Prime could still be Trypticon! even though FOC has nothing to do with Prime but within that,Trypticon is reconfigured into The Nemesis! so the basis for that could still exist with TF Prime Nemesis! hence there may be a toy in waiting. ok ok i know it's not exactly a reissue, but we could still end up with a Trypticon toy nevertheless.

Yeah it's the Takara Soundwave mold which had the exposed hinges. Hasbro referred to that as "the Soundblaster mold" because only the bigger door was still available to use (I believe the smaller door had to be recreated) and Hasbro's "Soundwave mold" had been damaged/destroyed.
