I was wondering whicj could be the molds that have been used the most in the Transformers line.

I can think of G1 seekers, Voyager Classics Optimus Prime and of course Deluxe Classics Starscream. Any other candidates?

 

Classics Seeker mold for sure...and...I'm suer there are some Movie-verse Bumblebee molds that were used quite often...I cannot speak exactly to the tee...but...were not the CW molds full of redecoes & retools...???...

11 different versions. I might be forgetting something, though.

 

There are like 30 versions of the Classics seeker mold. That steel mold has to be held together by duct tape and unicorn tears by now.

 

And what about BB Deluxe from the movies?

 

Different situation. They keep making new molds (that in some cases use old parts) rather than just repainting the '07 concept Camaro. Which only has 7 versions.

Classics Starscream (including Ramjet and his offspring) has 26 versions from both Hasbro and Takara.

 

Ok so far, we can say that the most repainted molds could be:

• Classics Starscream (absolute winner)
• Voyager Classics Optimus Prime
• G1 Bruticus
• Combiner Wars Alpha Bravo

Any other candidate? So we can start listing all variants.

Word on that. MP-10 got a lot of repaints too, have to check it out. I will also check TFP Wheeljack. I think, if a mold got more than 8 repaints can be considered.
