So I'm about to drop a bit of dough on ROTF figures and was wondering what you guys' five favorites are or what you consider the best?

 

Personally, out of what I have so far I'd say...
1. Leader Prime
2. Sideswipe
3. Breakaway
4. Sideways
5. the new Bee

(only other 2 I have so far are Rampage and Soundwave)

 

IMO

then there is group 2

Group 3 is ok but have some big flaws.

and that's as far as I go for now.

I like the look of Leader Jetfire, Voyager Megatron, Mixmaster, Deluxe Jolt, Skids, Mudflap, Scout Ransack, Ejector. But all of these have various minor flaws and drawbacks, while the first 4 I listed are in a class of their own.

I only own the first one but the pictures I've seen of the others are enough to convince me they'll be the ROTF toys I like the most.

Other potential favorites are HA Barricade and Leader Class Starscream but I can't say for sure until I've seen pics.

#4 Demolishor Mudflap and Rampage tie, but I really do like them all. Every one I've gotten is a great figure, but each has one or two problems that can get a little annoying.

4) Preview Bumblebee/HA Bumblebee (I know I might get stoned for saying this, but in a way I actually like the Preview Bee better. Though the HA one sure is fun)
5) Voyager The Fallen

 

Hmm. That's a toughie, there's exceptions & figures that haven't come out yet but will be soon...

..'kay, with what's out now, in no particular order..

Soundwave (because he's Soundwave)

Leader Class Megatron (I love the thrash-yo-ass tank he turns into, and would get him if he weren't (A) so expensive & (B) it weren't for my oddball collecting rules telling me I can't have another Megatron)

Deluxe Rampage (he's got the sadly standard ugly-movieverse Decepticon-mug, but he beats you with treads and has four legs!)

Deluxe Sideswipe (my favorite of the line, he's WIN - and there's going to be a repaint named Swerve that could easily pass for a G1 treatment of Sideswipe, new head mold too, just for you to consider)

Any of the Deluxe RotF Cycle Fembots (Chromia, upcoming Arcee, likely third unnamed one down the line) (I know many seem to hate them, but I - despite preferring Arcee to be a sleek car and Chromia a slightly thicker brand of fembot - love the designs in general, not as a standard per se but certainly for something new & unique)





I wish I could say Leader Prime, but I'm personally peeved there's no Prime figure without a faceplate (though I think there might be one down the line, I think I read that some where, don't recall if its offical or what), and the combo with Jetfire is just a sad representation of what was onscreen. I know the Jetfire figure has an impossible task of being three things at once so (as tends to be the case with triple-changers) at least one mode has to suffer, I just wish they could somehow come out with a figure already combined (Prime with the pieces permanently on him). But then, what would it turn into? Lol.
