Forgot how good Isekai Ojisan is.

 

I finished watching Kamen Rider W the other day and now I’m watching the anime sequel Fuuto P.I. I’m about halfway through this series now and I am absolutely loving it. A great follow-up to Kamen Rider W with more adult themes, which makes sense given its a sequel to Japanese show that would have aired to children who are now in their late teens or early twenties. The Japanese voice cast is excellent and really sound exactly like the actors who portrayed the characters in the original series.

I don’t know if you can get nostalgic for a show you only recently watched for the first time, but when Phillip and Shotaro first transformed and when they fought the Road Dopant and the original series’ theme music began playing, I definitely felt like I’d gotten blasted with a wave of nostalgia. I can only imagine what long time fans must have felt.

I’ve definitely fallen down the Kamen Rider rabbit hole now, having now watched through Build & W. I’m really enjoying Geats as well. I don’t know if Fuuto P.I. is meant to be a limited series with only 12 episodes or if it might get a second season somewhere later on. I know it’s based on a manga but beyond that, I went into this series blind. I’m looking forward to whichever Kamen Rider series I fall into next.

Erika is the best in that series. I decided to read the manga and man...really regret that. Purple hair girl is annoying to keep around.

Fun fact, that song is also a sequel song made just for the anime of the original one. Welcome to the Kamen Rider hole, Been there for 14 years, have enjoyed every second of it.
Regarding Fuuto, PI, I think there's like, over 100-200 chapters for the manga, so they have plenty of source material. Only real issue is how well it sold and the viewers.

 

Segawa can be over the top sometimes. I wonder about her engagement.

Don't think I've been let down as much as reading a source material than I have been with this tbh.

I just finished it yesterday. I absolutely hope that there’s another season. Currently, I’m watching Kamen Rider Black.

 

I finished Beast Tamer and it was alright. 7/10

 

Bocchi the Rock was truly a fun and relatable show. I have the songs on repeat now. Seishun complex lets go!

 

I finished Spy x Family and it was good not a good as the 1st part.

 

No more chainsaws for a while.

 

The watched the 2nd Princess Principle movie and it was okay.

 

No Bleach for half a year either…

How far into the manga did they cover? You would think given the manga is done they would have made the series all in one go.

 

Most of chapter 38. Only a few pages short. Part One of the manga is 97 or 98 chapters total.

 

Wow, talk about poor planning. It was what, 13 episodes and they didn't even make it halfway through the manga? Yikes.

 

What are you on about? 3 chapters per episode is typically considered good pacing for an anime adaptation.
