ok I have some questions maybe some people can help me answer them?

1. What happened to Lockdown's multiple ships that are all around Earth at the end of the movie? Does Galvatron have one? Who now has possession of these ships or will this play into TF5?

2. What happened to Galvatron he is the only one we don't see really fighting in the battle in Hong Kong he left his "brothers" to do his dirty work then slink off after the battle, any idea where he went?

3. Where did the dinobots go? They are rather large and smash things in their wake just like Godzilla and can easily accidentally kill humans until their feet? They aren't easily hidden.

4. What happened to the whole Optimus Prime silver knight thing? I thought that was in trailers or promo pics etc? Did it just get cut or did I miss something?

5. When Optimus was fighting Grimlock why are the other dinobots just hanging around?

6. Why was Optimus Prime so injured that he couldn't fight back when Lockdown took him hostage and put him in his prison but once Hound came and rescued him he was totally fine and running around and suddenly didn't have a gaping hole in his chest?

7. Why didn't the Autobots go from fighting each other literally trying to kill one another to just suddenly getting along? Without even a rousing speech from Prime?

8. Prime's reaction to Ratchet's death is a little out of character and order. In the canyon Cade showed footage of both Ratchet dying and Leadfoot dying. Then as Cade was in the lab he was showing footage live from the lab of them melting Ratchet's head down. Prime then loses it saying they slaughtered Ratchet. Yah but he already knew that from the footage Cade showed in the canyon. And why this reaction and nothing for Leadfoot, better yet for Ironhide, Wheelie, Jazz, etc.

9. How exactly did Galvatron suddenly breath life in to the other non sentient transformers? I thought only the matrix of leadership or something could do that which was kind of the whole point of an entire movie in the first trilogy. It looked like he just grabbed a metal bar and ta-da instant transformers life.

10. Where are all of Lockdown's little cohorts/team that was seen on his ship and helping him. Where are they? Where are all those creepy bug eyed robots that look like a creepy Sesame Street knock off? Did they just take off?

11. What happened to all the things in Lockdowns' prisons are they still trapped in there? Were they let loose too?

12. Why didn't Prime let just the dinobots out? Maybe they were in there because they were bad. Why didn't he free any of the other monsters to help them? Was it because the dinobots were transformers too? Seems racist I'm only going to free the transformers and no one else! lol.


So yeah if anyone can answer these I'd greatly appreciate it. I loved the movie so I'm not crapping on it or anything and I'd appreciate it if no one else does either. These are serious questions that I had wondering if I seriously missed something. My kid kept up and down and some parts of the movie so I could have easily missed something.

Who says they want to be hidden? Besides, that giant ship is theirs, I believe. They can live there.

The Silver Knight thing was honestly more about Optimus' ancestors, I think, then him.

I saw it as a Klingon, honor battle thing. If Optimus can defeat Grimlock in a FAIR one on one fight, then he can lead them. He did

I believe in the past it was established that Cybertronians have a sort of healing factor. I think.

As Crosshairs puts it, Optimus's charisma just makes you want to die for him. Just his presence changes them to lay their lives down and be Autoots.

It was less "They killed Ratchet!" and more "THEY ARE DESECRATING HIM!"

If someone I cared about died, I'd be sad. If I then found out that someone ripped my friend's head off and was desecrating it, I'd be infuriated.

For many people, the dead are sacred. Its why making jokes about dead people is seen as assholeish.

I don't know if I'd consider any of the Vehicons, or even Galvatron Cybertronians or Transformers. They seem to be a species all on their own due to the whole 'lack of spark' thing.

Besides, Galvatron had this whole time to gain control of his body, maybe he's been doing the same for his new army.

If I had to guess, still on the ship. Not that they stand a chance on taking the Autobots on now with their strongest warrior dead.

...? I don't understand. Prime DID let the Dinobots out. Heck, after they helped him save the world, he let them go free.

Why didn't he free any of the other monsters? Because 1. Those might have been savage animals. Ones without the intellect to obey others. They could have gone around and destroyed Hong Kong's ecosystem. 2. The part that Team Prime had, to my knowledge, had only Lockdown's top prizes. The Dinobots, and that thing Hund shot.

 

Lockdown's main ship and the detachment were clearly left behind in China. I don't recall any other ships.

to start the plot of TF5!

General consensus is they returned to the detached ship they were in. Probably left Earth. We'll see.

I think that was just a toy thing. As far as I know, there was never any CGI of it.

It wasn't their fight.

I don't think he was totally fine. He probably didn't fully heal until he got upgraded.

Because they got things off their chest, and there was a mission to complete.

Because he was reacting to the sight of his severed head being used for experimentation that would directly be used in the hunt to kill other Autobots. He wasn't reacting to the death. He was seeing the cruelty of the human's plan and it pissed him off even more.

He was piggy-backing the KSI connection that controlled the drones. Basically reprogramming them with his programming.

The prison is in the ship the Autobots took. We don't know (nor do we really need to. You're asking this movie to do a bit much at this point).

I'll try to answer this as best as I can and hopefully other members will also add their insight.

1. There really aren't any ships around earth at the end of the movie, just the Knights Temenos (Knightship)
2. No he just escaped and said that he will return.
3. Well we've talked about it in the boards and some of us think that they went back to the ship that was deployed from Knights Temenos and commandeered by the Autobots. (The ship in which they flew to Honk Kong).
4. No they chose not to use the Silver Knight "thing" in AOE. But we do get to know that he's one of the Knights. But we'll have to wait until TF5 to find out more about the Knights. The Silver Knight Optimus Prime was only used for toys.
5. Because it's Grimlock, he's the king.
6. Good question, I didn't think of that myself. But he's Prime, anything can happen.
7. Because it was dire times, everything was tense.
8. I do think that the deaths of some Autobots in the previous movies were not handled properly, i.e. Prime's reaction to them. But in AOE the deaths made perfect sense and improved the seriousness of the movie. As to why Optimus only becomes angry when they're melting Ratchet it's propbably because Optimus then only realizes that they're disgracing his teammates' bodies. But I do think both Ratchet and Leadfoot get proper salutation in the canyon. Hound takes off his helmet and puts it against his chest.
9. People have been speculating about that as well on the boards and they think it's because he has the power of the Allspark since it was shoved into his spark in TF1. As to why he hasn't used it before the only explanation people have come up with is that he only realizes it now.
10. They took off in the Knights Temenos, you can see ut beginning to leave earth in the end of the movie.
11. Only the Dinobots were let loose, or so it is implied because they were in the section that was deployed from Knights Temenos
12. Because Optimus knew the Dinobots from earlier. He knew they were Legendary Knights.

Answer to number 9:

Those Vehicons were also KSI drones, but weren't activated yet. Those little insect things that flew out from Megs's head transplanted some of his progamming so he could take control of them once he had fully awakened.
