    Is seems that during the firefight sequence Optimus loses major parts of his trailer, revealing what is inside, any guesses?

    Almost looks like a resupply of ammo for the nest troops or something of the sorts

    no way. that fire/explosion emanating from the trailer in that first picture is not pyrotechnics.

    Who says the Trailer exploded? These could be special effects that will add drama to the Trailer transforming. Roller and all the other goodies may not exist...yet.

    all that stuff is for the explosives and pyro added to the trailer... if anything it will just be cgi added. hopefully its just used to show like the trailer poping off for when OP is transforming like the cartoon.

    Better quality, think it is pyrotechnic equipment, they’ll probably add the flying trailer debris in CG later

    Yeah, looks like a series of generators, hooked up to power bars, hooked up to controlled explosives launchers. I'd agree on pyro effects.


    ...or maybe the smaller trailer is the result of Prime cutting back on that all-Energon diet. That shit's fattening, yo.

    When I first saw that pic, I instantly thought pyrotechnics. I'm guessing we'll see Optimus driving down a street, sans trailer, with explosions following right behind him (thanks to the trailer), as if he's barely "outdriving" them.

    Those are pneumatic cannons for the 'super cool explosion' effect's that Bay is so fond of. My guess is that Prime has to transport some sort of bomb in his trailer, and gets nuked in the process.
