Hey everyone, heres the finished figure of my WFC Ultra Magnus. You can see the WIP thread is below: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/312747-wfc-ultra-magnus.html I made some changes since then, changing the launchers/ stacks on his shoulders, and the head. The head change was due to an...*ahem*...unfortunate accident involving a bottle of acetone and clumsy fingers.... This figure was also my first attempt at dyeing... using RIT black die on the elbow joint and on all the tank treads.. You can see what seems to be uneven lining between the white and red areas on his torso and on the back, thats actually a lining on steel colour, but the camera just isnt picking it up well.. Thanks for looking.
WIN, personally I would have gone for a G1 esc head as every incarnation has had one. loving that vehicle mode
Impressive representation of Ultra Magnus, I AM MEGATRON. Alt mode is imposing, but cool and the rest is awe-inspiring.
Looks nice dude - Love the UM colours on this guy, came out real smooth. Not bug on the head, but thats personal preference...
Nice! The mish-mash of all those bits & pieces works so well together & he fits right in with the WFC design. Now that is one sweet-ass Ultra Magnus!
Very very very interesting take on this figure. I like the pallet used on him, but might have added a bit of silver to the head crest to break up the white and blue. But as a whole, really creative. The more I look at the alt mode, the more I feel that he really works well in the WFC universe. I'm just glad to see it in color, those black and white photos were making me want more!
i love this custom one of my favorites great alt mode on UM. hmm but i wonder how that head mold would look with the pipes on the sides of the head?
I'm really like that truck mode I kinda wish he had a more classic face but its your custom so its up to you
