This was a WFC Soundwave commission piece that I wrapped up a few weeks ago. The client wanted an LED lit chest, glowing effects and use of a remaining gundam weapons and Jetpack from a previous build and a total repaint.
Simply awesome! I still love the affect you've achieved with the glowing wheels, great paintwork as usual!
Wow; very good work and a fun take on the figure! I was surprised at how long it took someone to light the chest of this particular mold; it seems so obvious! great paint job too!
I hope that in the sequel of WFC, that'll be awesome as well as this custom. Nothing says, "Badass" when robots carrying BFGs.
Thanks guys... @Encline, the glowing effect and the purple was such a pain to do but turned out better than expected. I was nervous applying these details when the rest of the repaint was finished (client requested the glowing effects after it was finished) Anyways it all worked out and is definatley cool especially glowing in the dark.
I like how the wheels have a realistic random energy glow effect with just paints. Hell of an artistic eye there. The whole bot mode has a cool Armored Core bot feel to it. Neato!
