i really wish they hadn't tried to emulate the sunbow model with the fake chest and all. would've rather the normal starscream design with tetrajet parts in place of earth kibble. that freaky looking cockpit would look great on his chest.

So I have Starscream but this pin is a little loose for my liking. Any recommendations on how to tighten it?

A Qtip dipped in Future Floor Polish, then just press the tip lightly onto the silver circle (rivet)
Let the pressure of the pressing the qtip send the Future into the crevices of that river. Should be tight as a rock the next morning.

Use a minimal amount of Future, it doesnt take much.

Aw jeez, weve been had... idk why though? Likez clearly tgat person already got a Starscream, so why trick people into waiting on getting him? At least now i can grab him worry-free next time i see him. Some enterprising customizer could make some good money doing that fix on other people's starscreams though.

I was looking at Screamer at Walmart this afternoon and just couldn't convince myself to bite the bullet and buy him. I think if they had worked a little harder to better incorporate his legs into an undercarriage I probably would have gotten him, but the fact that it's his legs obviously hanging off his underside really put me off of buying him.

heh making Starscream into a punching bag is amusing for some reason, I mean it's easy to get him into poses where he is being punched or defending himself
I may have a wrist that pops off when you rotate it, but this makes starscream worth it, just how pose-able he is,

I adore this guy. I love his posability, his proportions, his awesome Star Wars-lookin tetrajet, even his transformation is fun (lucky for me, the chest panel on mine seems to be more stable than most).

If his chin were painted, he’d be perfect, but I painted mine myself so I guess he is now. Super fun figure for play and display. Couldn’t recommend him more, and I’m way hyped to complete the seeker trio.

So I have two pins that I pulled from another toy sometime ago, they look to be just the right size, however when placed into the red existing hole, it's still a smiiiiiiiiiidge too small, they pull in and out easily. But, when I drill the holes into the gray parts, if I make those tight enough, will it matter that the red holes are slightly too large? In theory, the tightness of the gray holes should hold them in place nicely; whilst still giving that little bit of wiggle room you suggested. Yay?

A little looseness on the red parts is probably preferable. If it’s tight, any slight mistake on the hole placement on the grey piece could cause the chest to be stuck at certain angles when pegged in place

    Beautiful.
My $8 pin vice arrives from Amazon tomorrow. Can't wait to do this. This figure is darn near perfect in my book, two small pins and it IS perfect!

Nah, for this mod, I don't think it'll be difficult whatsoever. The holes are practically pre-drilled if you just use the holes in the red piece as a guide. Just put the small tip in there, and start drilling so it marks the gray piece, then you can go from there.

At least that's how I see it going.

Correct. The nail I used to make pins is also slightly smaller than the hole in the red plastic, as I mentioned in the video. As long as you don't make the holes too large in the grey bits, you'll be fine.

So do you need to run two separate pins or is there room for one long pin? I have a pin handy (the extra one from SDCC Optimus Primal separating the mini OP from the big bot), but it's long and I'm not sure how to cut it smoothly.
