Sorry to hear it. I was hoping that the QC issue on my first one (which I've since returned) was a one-off.

I really like his robot mode. His alt VTOL mode is cool, but because peg tolerances are off, it doesn't feel very solid. I played around with the parts to see if I could get a better alt mode that would stay together better - I like this combination, though you may not want to pull the forearms out too often. You can leave them in and fold them behind, but it throws off the balance of the alt mode a little.

What does Sixgun transform into? Looks like a jet or space cruiser of some sort, but it seems that an official bio said it was a tank.

It's a Cybertronian VTOL aerospace craft as far as I can tell. Certainly not a tank.

has anyone come across this issue. the thighs on my Sixgun only rotate outwards, but do not rotate forward or back. Any ideas on a fix or is this junk? I hate that it can't even transform into its "jet" mode.[IMG]

An official bio apparently said it was a tank, but I agree that a VTOL jet is more likely. At that juncture, the idea that Sixgun transforms into a tank is essentially a "because we say so" from Hasbro.

This one's come up on a number of Siege toys and, iirc, involves glue getting into spaces where it shouldn't.

Here's an example, with a Sixgun

Heating the toy - hairdryer or hot water - may help first.

My Sixgun got split between Prowl and Ironhide. Whites to whites and reds to reds.

I decided to give Sixgun better articulation by trimming around some of the joints. Mainly the knees, elbows and shoulders.

He can now bend his knees and elbows well past 90 degrees and his shoulders have gained a bit of downward motion.

I also drilled out the nubs that held the toes on and replaced them with styrene rods which has greatly tightened the toe joint and added stability.

I just got Six Gun yesterday, and since Hound is my only other Seige figure, I decided to have some fun with them!
