Meet SIXBORE my Fort Max's new Extra minion... He needed a bit of alt mode differentiation so I cobbled together this hovertank/mobile artillery hovercraft. However the main purpose was to weaponize, or rather accessorize, Max, in particular I thought that Sixgun's central core would make a neat wee Air Traffic Control tower to sub for Max's missing G1 Arm Garage (or Car Hole, if you prefer) if doctored to a more complimentary colouring. And I think you may have to concur that I was, indeed, correct. Not only a tidy wee tower but an extra turret to boot! Plus an unexpected bonus feature that the Nightbeat drill/jet can peg on in a launch position. What to do with the leg guns was a bit of a quandry, until I figured out that Cogs groin n' hips (his only component with nowhere to go in my twin cannon fanmode) would assist Max in watching his six in battlestation mode where previously he was somewhat exposed, a much more fitting metaphorical "Less-Than-Welcome Mat"... Best Bonus of all though is in figuring out where all his bits besides the tower could stow on Max, I discovered in experimentation that the arm cannons are perfect extensions for his tower hardpoints... ...it's a much more stable base for the Cog Twin Cannon fanmode (which without the extension clashes with the surface of the tower due to lack of clearance), and makes it way easier to pose the Perfect Effect rifle at different angles of fire without popping it off when you rotate it! The hardest part was naming him, I wanted to keep the Six from Sixgun but have a name overall that could have a bit of a double meaning to refer to weaponry but also engineering, as I envisioned him as an Engineer to go with Cog's new role as a Mechanic. After much linguistic faffing about I learnt (or possibly re-learnt) that 'bore' isn't only an engineering term for guns specifically but just about anything you have to engineer a hole in/through, plus maybe he's a bit dull in person so SIXBORE!
