I believe it’s being found pretty widely at Ross for $18 if you have access... (I haven’t seen it yet, but lots of reports)

If I didn't have one, I'd grab it for that price even if I was planning on the ER version too. It's a really fun and hefty figure and I think you'd be missing out if you didn't grab one for as cheap as $35

just for a dissenting opinion, I got it for under $30 on an amazon sale last year, and I don't think it's worth $35. Ross price sure, but overall it's one of the most disappointing Transformers I've purchased in years.

Mine had horrible QC with really floppy joints, the bumper butt is an unforgivably unfinished looking design choice, it has some of the ugliest battle damage apps in the line (looks like he got mugged with a silver sharpie) and the overall design causes his armor to constantly collide with himself hampering the usefulness of the articulation and he's got some particularly ugly Ugly Hollow Plastic Syndrome. The inner robot is silly looking with bad proportions and the really awkward translucent chest.

Overall I'd reckoned the Legends or TFTM30th version of the CW mold if you can find it reasonably priced (which also has some serious design issues, but I have a hard time believing Kingdom UM will be a huge improvement over Siege if he's based on the same design)

I kind of in the same boat. The figure is just "okay". It's pretty floppy and is almost entirely a partsformer. The only reason I got him is because he matches the aesthetic of Siege Springer and, IMO, is the only Ultra Magnus that fits my preferred scale for him (ie: taller then everyone else, but not towering over everyone else).

For all the time someone has had this figure I am SHOCKED a 3rd party didn’t make replacement feet that allot tilts and him to stand straight.

He’s incapable of standing with flat feet perfectly vertical. The feet are angled. That ruins an otherwise good figure. He needs replacement feet ASAP

The permanent angle of this feet is what ruins the figure for me. I have the 3rd party kit for the legs which helps, but ugh, the permanent ankle tilts suck. Especially in truck mode.

To be fair though, not sure how anyone would even go about it.

Well, the damage paint sucks, too but I've gotten used to that.

A 3rd party can make a new pair of feet. the old ones can pop off with a little effort. OR since they are hollow...slippers that are counter angled...

The angle on the bottom of the foot let's his wheels roll in alt mode, but picks them up off the ground for bot mode so he's not sliding around on roller skates. I'm not a big fan of the pre-tilted ankles either, but it was designed that way for a reason

Am I the only one not at all bothered by the permanent ankle tilt?

His legs are so bulky it's not even an issue. :/

I would prefer to have the option of flat feet, for a few posing options, but overall it's never really bothered me. He's so chunky that it's difficult to get him in any good pose besides the basic A-stance anyway

Well, you can get a knock off that's larger and has flat feet and gaps filled and a metal chest and longer upper legs for about $45.

The downside of the flat feet, which you can clearly see on that KO, is that the feet will never be flat against the ground, because of the wheels. So the ankles can be straight, but the feet can't be flat against the ground

I have the KO and you really don't notice that much in person (it's like less than half a centimeter). I would say it's better than the official, which I also have, but I guess you just have to pick your poison. I still like the other additions to the KO though.

The best option would be some sort of slider, so the wheels slide down a fraction and lock for alt mode, and then slide up and lock for bot mode. I guess that just didn't fit into the leader budget. I do like the overall look of that KO, but it's weird to me that it's slightly oversized compared to the official along with the extended thighs. Does that mean all the 5mm pegs and holes are no longer 5mm? Or were those adjusted to stay the right size?

The size increase isn't huge, but traditional 5mm weapons are a little loose. I like that they increased the size but he's not one of those gargantuan oversized KOs. He just comes out feeling a little more like leader class size of the POTP leaders. But yeah, the wheels being able to fold in or slide up would have been ideal.

    I'm gonna disagree with you.
You can convert the armour parts into a base, like what I did.
There's even a slot between the boots to place a micromaster.

I can't find the pictures currently but what you have to do to make a base-
Put the shoulder towers on the boots like in transformation,
Fold the trailer parts until they rest snugly on the boots
Put the big black guns as stilts
    Micromaster base complete.

I'm not sure if adding earth wheels to this made it better or just weird. . .
