So I like the look of him, don’t get me wrong... I like to collect Canon figures though, does anybody have any info on if this version is even Canon?! I know that he wasn’t in the Netflix Siege series... maybe Earthrise? idk
I can agree with that, especially since we could see a new Laser Prime down the road and this way the trailer would already be done for him. I don't mind this using the Siege Optimus robot since its truck mode seems more militaristic than ER Optimus, and Nemesis Prime figures sometimes use different bodies than the current Optimus anyhow. I could see this Nemesis as being an unhatched clone that appears as Optimus is getting his ER body. That could also explain the Matrix becoming a separate item while Nemesis just has the old imprint of it. +-MWG-+

Maybe because all of the shows haven't released. Siege was part 1 of 3 and ultra magnus was released before the show so, spoiler.
Well... I really wish I was right. Galaxy Upgrade Nemesis would've been a lot more interesting. Might still pick this up, since I've been wanting a good Nemesis Prime and I want that red Slitherfang but at the same time I don't want the trailer what so ever, so I think I'll sit this one out. Maybe I'll grab the red Slitherfang off the aftermarket if I can find one for a good price. I'm pretty sure this is the fourth or fifth Optimus mold to be repainted into Nemesis Prime more than once. Let's see: RTS Laser Prime into Scourge, twice Classics Prime into Nemesis at least twice Big Convoy, arguably, as Nemesis and Big Black Convoy and lastly Alternators Prime into Black Convoy and Nemesis Prime

Kinda glad they did\'nt use the ER mold , or NP would\'ve been limited to an earth disguise. Atleast with this mold he can go wherever and not feel out of place. The Galaxy Prime mold also would\'ve been pretty cool. His trailer is a better deal for the leader price than the ER trailer.
Well I jumped on this. I missed the Takara exclusive version so this is just fine with me. Glad I passed on the AU Optimus now.
I'm a sucker for all things Nemesis, so I'll be picking this up, but I won't lie, I wish it had been the ER mold. I already have the TT Siege Nemesis (which is a better deco than this one, IMO), so I would have been overjoyed at an ER version, even in this grayer deco. Still getting it though. Can't pass up Nemesis. (It's a disease.)
Weird. Just got an email from Pulse that they have this now. So much for Walmart exclusive line. -ZacWilliam, maybe after the way the first Surprise box sold Walmart wanted less.
I wonder if this tells us anything about future Netflix Leader Class releases - whether they're Spoiler Pack-style or not. Between the Ultra Magnus figure showing up at more than a few Wal-marts and immediately marked down to the ~$30 range before being recently offered up on other e-tailers, and now this guy getting a wider release just a month or so after he was put up for pre-order on Wal-mart, it makes me wonder if Magnus sold so bad or Wal-mart decided to back peddle on the Leader Class exclusives that the decision was made to pull the plug on this assortment mid-stream leaving a bunch of un-sold stock that maybe Hasbro was only just recently able to offer up to other companies - and Nemesis Prime was maybe too far along to just cancel outright? I guess we'll have to wait and see what Wave 3 brings us, though it sure would be nice to see the other Netflix figures get wider releases since I don't really trust Walmart.com to handle the preorders well.
Id bet its because of the fact boxes that are 60 bucks at a retail store that dont tell you whats in them didnt sell well, and some stores got them in at 35 bucks.... Immediate clearance didnt bode well. That or Hasbro is negotiating with e-tailers carrying the Netflix figures since Walmart cant even bother to ship online pre-orders. Maybe Walmart becomes the exclusive physical retail location for the netflix figures? Also makes me wonder what the next leader class figure's fate is...
