    Just for the thumbnail:

So this is my take on a G1-styled SIEGE Crosshairs. It's inspired by POSSESSED_DIGIT's custom (click here to see) and I'm using the same pieces from a Codee set he used. I combined the pieces with LEGO 6628 - BALL WITH FRICTION SNAP to be able to attach wheels (LEGO 30324) from the LEGO Rock Raiders line. The only "issue" is that the distance from the ball to the pin of LEGO 6628 is a bit too short to fit perfectly with Codee pieces but therefore ratchet function keeps maintained. As you can see in the pictures the Codee parts bend a bit outwards but I don't see any stressmarks.
Due to the Codee pieces' features and amount I used of them the wheels' positions are adjustable now. I use Crosshairs' original wheels as hubcaps for the new ones. They are a little bit too small but it doesn't look bad. And I noticed that the original wheels are even designed after the G1 toys' ones/rims. I painted them red yesterday and I will add more progress pictures and ones of the finished custom at this coming weekend (presumably). I'll add pictures of how I combined the original wheels with the LEGO ones and alt mode pictures of pretty much every possible position/configuration of the wheels. If you wanna see anything else just tell me.

I'll give Crosshairs Trenchfoot as his Mini-Con partner and I want Smashdown for him, too, because a hammer suits him pretty well and the original one doesn't fit on his roof with Trenchfoot attached at the same time. But I didn't figure out a good way yet to attach Smashdown. I am thinking about adding another 5 mm peg to her back.

Here is a little update on Crosshairs after some painting details and the hubcaps and black washing everything.

I added the glowing effect on the blade by airbrush applying a bit of a white flat primer.
Next step will be a second coat on some of the metal color details, adding glowing details and maybe adding some metal wear.

So I finished them (Crosshairs & Pinpointer) today but as good daylight is rare during this time of the year at my current location I have to wait for a good day.
But to not let you guys wait for too long you can have a little glimpse of them and two configuration options below:
    G1-ish:

    Wide wheelbase:

    And some UV-light images:

Where do the wheels go when he transforms? Where wheels come from? Let's also see his partner?

They will fold on his back as on POSSESSED_DIGIT's custom (click here to see).

As I wrote down in the first post they come from the LEGO Rock Raiders line (LEGO 30324).

And as I metioned in my last post I'll add a whole gallery as soon as I can take some good pictures ;)
This will of course include Trenchfoot / Pinpointer, too, as well as his butcher Energon blade I showed above.

    Thank you very much, guys!
And yes, there will come more pictures of robot mode, alt mode in pretty much every possible configuration and Trenchfoot / Pinpointer in both modes soon.

And here are some pictures on how I connected the LEGO wheels with the original wheels:
    IMG_20200209_110009.jpg
I just grinded grooves into the middle of the LEGO wheels where axles could go through for..
    IMG_20200209_105839.jpg
...the strut that's going through the inside of the original wheels. So the wheels which are hubcaps now just connect via friction to the LEGO wheels. And I shortened the axle of the original wheels a bit because they weren't able to go into the LEGO wheels all the way.

*Edit: Still no good sunlight for pictures in here and I'll be on vacation and a buisness trip for the next three weeks so don't expect new pictures in that time. I hope that I can take some in three weeks.

One thing I just remember that I totally forgot to mention is that I noticed Crosshairs' mouth section resembles his bumper section very much.
    front (2).jpg IMG_20200301_123622.jpg
And his hubcaps look like the G1 toy's.
So this confirms (to me at least) that he hasn't just been an afterthought for a reuse of the SIEGE Ironhide mold. They already had him in mind when they designed the mold. So the alt mode isn't specifically designed for Ironhide. The windshield/canopy section could be another hint for that. It looks more like Crosshairs' only with G1 Ironhide's headlights added into the sculpt.

I just wanted to share this because I think it's interesting especially for Crosshairs fans.
