The washes and additional reds on him really pop. Is he also somehow taller than the stock figure? How'd you manage that?

Thanks! I think it's just the angle of the picture that makes him appear taller.

    Thank you! Greatly appreciated!

I do like the Wreckers a bit more dirty as there the dudes that get the dirty jobs lol.
Really nice shadowing and detail work! You have made an already great figure into a masterpiece!

I was always going to paint the grey plastic on mine with tamiya acrylic chrome, almost become a must on anything I get these days as it just seems right.
After seeing yours yesterday you inspired me to get on with it and I didn't realise the level of detail on the figure until I started going over it and I agree it makes all the difference. Considering most of my wreckers have already had this treatment it seems right Impactor joins them.
Hes definitely not as good as yours, you are a very skilled painter plus I dont have access to every you have which makes a lot of difference.
I used tamiya acrylic smoke, chrome and red gloss thinned with a little 91% Isopropyl alcohol and may still go back to shade in the gun and harpoon yet although not mega happy with his harpoon being accurate enough to the marvel comics Impactor so gonna custom one of those up. Didn't see the point in starting a thread for mine so I hope you don't mind me sharing the results for mine here. Thank you for showing me the light. 20191224_002601.jpg 20191224_002610.jpg 20191224_002628.jpg 20191224_002657.jpg 20191224_002722.jpg 20191224_002738.jpg 20191224_002757.jpg

Also looking to make some gap fillers for his legs, back etc, I noticed on Ebay the other day someone has started selling a 3d printed kit for wfc Impactor as well now.

Better pictures with natural light thinking about adding a tiny bit of orange to the red so it looks like its glowing a bit? Is that what you did to yours? Your red bits look like glowing enegeon like the idw bots looks really effective. 20191224_145214.jpg 20191224_145148.jpg 20191224_145122.jpg 20191224_145054.jpg
