WFC servers down?

    I haven't been able to access the multiplayer for the past couple of days, is anyone else having the same problem?

    People complaining WFC is better then FOC incoming.

    I hope they haven't shut down the servers... that would be stupid.

    It would make sense to shut the servers since there's 1000 at the most on each console...that isn't worth paying for the servers.

    I noticed it was down a couple days ago.

    Looks like I've got nothin fun to play anymore. Guess I'll go outside now.

    Its bad if they took theese servers down as there are other games with A LOT less players such as RoFT (im not saying RoFT is bad as it is fun)

    I thought it was just no one playing WFC any more.

    With FOC's crappy mulitplayer, the concept art not being included but instead sold in a book and the on disk DLC crap, if the WFC server has been taken down, these people will be really starting to piss me off.

    I thought i was the only one, and was just about to make a thread about it. Same thing goes for ROTF too for that matter. pisses me off.

    Yeah,... It's too bad they never made a sequel with improved multiplayer customization, gameplay balance, and a longer campaign-WAITTASECOND!

    Exactly. Too bad they never did make a sequel that was actually better, and not just worse in new ways.

    FOC was better because of the balencing until high moon upgraded the scientist....

    Really? That's a shame, I was meaning to revisit WFC and play it again. God that is a fun game. I have a lot of good memories with WFC.

    My biggest issue is the relentless sloppy gameplay in FOC. I can live with everything else they messed up but sticking to everything in the map is a total fun killer.

    I just tried ROTF, worked just fine for me. I checked out WFC though, it is indeed offline for the moment. Has anyone tried the DOTM servers?

    This has always been my fear with really enjoyable online multiplayer games... that one day the servers go down & maybe stay down for good, due to cost. Now i'm not saying that's what's happening here (God, i hope not) but this rattles the sh*t outta me because i luv WFC's escalation/multiplayer modes so much. I really hate having the destiny/longevity of my games depending on this. This is also why i'm so skeptical when buying multiplayer based games. Hell, i need my WFC's escalation mode... Forever!!!
