Hi everyone. This is the 2nd WFC custom. I have use the same technique I use on Bumblebee on this Prime and they both look like they have jump out of the same game universe. I have did some change to the blaster prime has and have added an aluminum nozzle to the front of the gun to make it look like it could be fired compare to the original one which is not modified. Another thing that I have change in OP in his Alt form. He seems to retain his truck mode. So I did a change in giving it a semi-flat look rather then Bumblebee sport car glossy look. Hope you all like my custom and will have this up in Ebay with Bumblebee as a set. Will be taking a short break of a week and will start working on HOTD Jetblade and hopefully Drift. Alt Mode Robot Mode. That is all for OP. Hopefully Hasbro will release the rest of the crew from WFC.
FREAKIN SWEET! The only thing I think is missing, and this is a minor nit pick, is some of the paint chipping like in the game where it looks like there are some spots on him that looks like bare/raw metal, but out side of that, it really does look like it JUMPED right OUT of the game!! Great work man!! Keep 'em comin!!
WOW its amazing how good subtle touches can be! thats the problem with so many people doing battle damage they just go to far! these are spot on WELL DONE LESS IS MORE !!!
I agree with Omegaprime about the look of raw metal. B-Bee looks SICK but I think Prime needs to have some actual raw metal wear as well man but even still, very nice paint apps!
Very nice! I agree with those guys who suggested some drybrushed weathering. But overall very masterful execution.
Hi guys. I have redo the paint aps on this Prime with bare metal expose on him yet still maintain the original paint design. Many thanks to all of you all who give me these precious advices. Many thanks guys. Hence named Optimus Prime ver 2.0 is born. Hope you all like it. Alt Mode Robot Mode
I really love what you did originally with this, but after you went back to add the silver "bare metal" showing through the damaged areas, it REALLY brought this to life! Excellent work!
I would paint the wheel outside so it isn't red. That way it actually looks like the tires are in his back. I know how I would go about painting if I actually had paint.
Very nice work on Optimus and Bumblebee. Youve really captured their in-game looks on both of these toys. Excellent work once again!
Many thanks for your kind words guys. Hope I can chunk out more soon when Hasbro release more WFC toys.
