Biggest QC issue I've had with this guy is his back "wing" that turns into his upper hip piece--the one that slides in a half-circle shape. There's a screw that pulled out from the hole in the hip piece and I have no idea how to fix it. It looks like it should be able to screw back into place but that's not the case. I've had this issue before with the original movie voyager Ratchet's black bumper piece that ends up behind his knee. Any clue what causes these kinds of breaks and how best to handle them?

Whoa, chill man. Im just sorry your toy broke. Qc is just something we can't control. I just dont think you should blame the design unless we see more cases of this imo

I think its a pin thats been punched in. Have you tried pushing in it and gluing it? Or is that not working?

I tried gluing it but it still feels loose. Any tool do you suppose would be useful in pushing it further?

I had the exact same thing happen to my first copy of this figure. I had an idea but never tried it, I just exchanged the figure for another one. I was thinking filling the hole that the pin goes into with super glue and then immediately holding the part together as it is supposed to for however long it takes for the glue to harden around the pin. Once the piece you're referring to comes out, I simply see no other way to get it to hold again.

So if you want to try that, go for it. If not, your best bet is to return the figure if you can. Then, if you pick up another, take extra care to grab the inside of the hip slider part when transforming, that's what I unfortunately have to do.

Sadly, it makes this and several other figures from the line not very much fun to transform. I was looking forward to this line for a long time as a lifelong Beast Wars fan and was hoping to get figures I could transform effortlessly back and forth unlike the Masterpieces which are kind of just there to look amazing. But instead, the constant issues facing this line are killing my love for it. Megatrons are breaking, Cheetors neck tabs snapping off or the entire head's pin point breaking or Optimus Primal thigh paint scratching when trying to pose/transform him. The newest Kingdom voyager Dinobot video review even warns of paint scratching with him, too. At this point instead of being excited for the new characters I'm just starting to wonder, "What's gonna be wrong with this one?".

I've thankfully had better luck with QC up to this point but I feel for you, that sucks. Kingdom still looks like a quality line and I still want to see what else comes from it, but with such beautiful figures being put out, it really is a shame to see defects like these make themselves known.

This is probably the most accurate description of the kingdom line

Kingdom is literally 'mini masterpiece' where they even replicated paint chipping and tiny tabs that easily break ahaha

I really wouldn't mind if they charged us more for less paint and more parts molding. If they made the thigh parts on prime white or even Cheetor's arms in gold or something i really would not mind paying extra for less paint chipping.

So you have nothing to give as an example.

I mean if you want an example sure mate :D

POTP prime mold/Star convoy's shoulder joint is literally held on by a pin.

Unless there are more cases of shoulder breakages on beasty boi megs i really doubt that its a design flaw.

Them back wings/upper thigh pieces doe. Should really change those to be more sturdy

Your self satisfaction at being goaded into giving an example is interesting.

I will check my power of the primes optimus when I get home. As I assume it it almost the same as that one.

As far as dinos are concerned, I think I prefer this one over SS86 Grimlock.

Found a copy at my Walmart yesterday and could not resist. I’m a sucker for bad guys especially ones that are dinosaurs. This guy hits a lot of marks for me. Ya ya he doesn’t close up a nice as I hoped but I love how posable he is. The tail hinges are scary with the flaps and rubbery outer skin. I have stress marks on mine from transforming a couple times. No way are the kids allowed to even attempt transforming this until they get older. But I was a huge beast wars fan. It was called beasties here in Canada. It’s refreshing to have new figures like these and I am a big fan of vertebreak and paleotrex too. Bring on all the Dino TF’s

I dont know about rubbery, but I do know that its unacceptable to have a leader class figure with a hollow forearm in 2021.
