With this new line, I wonder if it means Needlenose too.

 

Of all the things leakers have said are coming and things they haven't heard anything about and so are presumed unlikely, Needlenose was the only character I've ever seen firmly outright deconfirmed (specifically by wreckgar39), unfortunately.

 

So was Terrorsaur, anythings possible with this release thankfully

 

Pretty sure Apollux also vouched for Needlenose being unfathomable levels of dead. It's almost funny how much he has been screwed over.

He was a surprise to all the leak people as far as I am aware. It's very possible he was hobbled together after much fan demand and a likely retool over a new mold for Golden Disk.

 

Apollux has hinted unlikely for 2022 retail- not quite the same as unfathomable levels of dead......

 

One thing to note, I only get info on mainline retail releases, not selects/exclusives and things like the Galactic Odyssey set or Golden Disk Collection.

I'm still hoping there's a deluxe jet in the 2022 line, or an open slot for Needlenose in whatever special subline come that year  

 

Maybe Treds is in the Golden Disk Collection.

 

I still think Terrorsaur will be a remold/retool of the Fossiliser known as 'Wingfinger' which is supposed to be a Pteranodon. I can see him sorta working as a retool/remold of Airazor, but admittedly then he'd be more akin to his original toy and not tall enough in my view:

Terrorsaur being a Fossilizer would be funny since we can make jokes about this being what happen to him after he fell in the lava.

 

Has there been any leaks on what the line will look like post kingdom and war for cybertron? Another trilogy or is it going back to how it looked before the prime wars trilogy?

 

I mean look at terrorsaur. You didn't know about that? Look now.

Even if it takes a thousand request, I hope for needlenose in the future.

 

Definitely need a proper needlenose.

 

Trilogies sell well....

 

And they are a fun narrative, plus they are my personal pick over what came before.

Say what you will about the prime war and wfc cartoons, me personally I find things that I like and things that I hate about them but just like the live action bay movies it’s better than nothing (do I want them to be better, for sure) but I’m happy that they exist.

 

Trilogies also provide a means to quickly convey a fixed time period to mass audiences.

The end of a trilogy can be HasTak's way of signaling a change in design philosophy. WfC was centered around screen accuracy. If the next thing as a new trilogy they don't *have* to stick to that, and once the next trilogy is over can pivot again

problem is that the listing confirms him as deluxe while wingfinger is a core

 

I hope a voyager inferno is part of one of those. Maybe a trans metal aswell, but I don’t want too many characters to be exclusives. I feel bad for people who can’t get them and most times I can’t get them myself.
