Wouldn't surprise if there's a new switch shortage.

 

What better time to announce a new console than during a global shortage of materials needed to make new electronics?

 

I’m not looking forward to another round of “Fighting Online Scalpers” when this new Nintendo console drops

Let them have it. Like I said. I want the new console because I know it'll have games I like, but I'm not bending over backwards for one. I was wondering when gaming would finally leave me behind and this was it.

I'm not fighting scalpers, and I'm not buying from them either. I hope the units they stockpile rot.

 

Seems like this set is sold out now. Maybe more later. ???

 

Part of me wants to say that I can't believe both sets sold out so quickly, but then another part of me says "G1...DUH".  

 

Never say never. If people cancel that would free up units. I *think* the "Partner Exclusives" tab has gotten some units back in stock from time to time. Just keep checking every Friday around noon CST.

not a new console, just a beefed up switch. Like a PS4 vs a PS4 pro.

 

Tomayto, tomahto. If they call it the Switch 2 it's no different than the PS1-PS2 jump. And it wouldn't change the difficulty finding one.

 

Don't get me wrong, I bought them for both, these just seemed to sell out quicker than I figured they would, especially the Sideswipe/Skywarp set.

 

G1 fans and BW fans both want half this set but there's not enough communication between them to split it.

Never should've waited to begin with. Select 2019 exclusives and 2020 should've taught anyone that if you wait for clearance you're only going to be left without.

Just hope that if you didn't wait and ordered at full price that Amazon doesn't find a way to f' it up and make it even harder to acquire these sets.

 

Both BAT sets are now also sold out on Amazon AU. I put in my preorder for Sideswipe/Skywarp yesterday so hopefully they honor it.

 

Isn't that a good thing, though? Gets 'em off this rock for a while. Might do wonderous things.

 

It's always interesting to see who legitimately didn't care if they missed out while waiting for clearance, and the people who "wait for sales" but then immediately get very upset when they miss out of their own volition.

It's just like the "God ill never find Walgreens exclusive *insert figure* because Walgreens...." until they find it and it shelfwarms.

 

Now that Pulse is a thing, anybody who's *that* concerned about exclusives should just have a Premium Membership. It's $50 a year, but you get first access to Partner Exclusives and if you've got FOMO for any particular figure it's a huge time/money saver not having to hunt around stores or tracking down product later.

Like seriously, I haven't "hunted" since Pulse launched. I still find stuff in stores before it ships, sometimes. But that's if it happens to show up at a store while I'm making a trip for something else.
