This. Siege Sideswipe is basically an earth mode. This new one seems to literally have just added a roof and some better weapons.

For the folks that like and want this, yippee? I know I’m not in competition for this set as I have and like my Siege mold.

Edit: ok, they retooled the hood to be more square. Still not sold here.

 

A Beast Wars 2 toy? BW 2 Never even aired here. It never even got a dvd set. This fells off.

It's a way of releasing Bird Silverbolt without calling him Silverbolt when there's a Silverbolt in Beastwars everyone else cares about more

 

It's almost like the majority of the Siege designs are utterly pathetic at having an alien vibe at all and are pretty much interchangable with their Earth modes

 

I can’t believe the msrp on this thing is $44.99, and then Pulse sells it for $47.99, and then Amazon fucking raises the price for it $52.99. Not ordering until they put it back down to $45, or at the very least $48.

The only Siege Sideswipe I own is the Netflix version, so this is perfect for me, and I like how Skywarp looks. Glad I was able to preorder this for $44.99.

 

They literally reshelled a large chunk of the red parts to match ER Sideswipe lol

I think he was being sarcastic, it took me a second to realized as well. I wrote up an entire tirade about how much was changed before I realized "oh wait I can't read." This is your brain on tfw2005

The lack of combined mode is disappointing, and the bird head is too.

 

When I first saw the Kingdom Sideswipe for sale, I instantly ordered it since I’m all about 1984-1986 but I was underwhelmed. Didn’t see many differences and was disappointed in lack of rear spoiler. However, seeing pictures of the Siege and Kingdom Sideswipe alt modes side-by-side I can really start to see all the changes made to Kingdom Siege.

 

I don’t know why, but the paint or maybe the plastic being used (or both) make Sideswipe look cheap compared to all the Siege/Netflix molds. I don’t have a Sideswipe because I didn’t like how the battle damage was presented in Siege/Netflix, but the picture makes me not want to get this 2pk that includes Kingdom Sideswipe.

 

Fans: *ask for an Earth Mode Sideswipe that matches ER Sunstreaker*
Hasbro: *literally does exactly that*
Fans: "y no spoiler????"

Just buy the MP at this point.
