Guys if we're getting a Rodimus Prime next year it is more likely that he's going to be in the '86 Studio Series line. Just remember that you don't have to put all of the G1 eggs into the Kingdom basket.

 

The leaks have said Rodimus is explicitly Kingdom and we're getting hot rod in SS

 

Supposedly, listings or some other data confirmed Voyager Hot Rod for SS86 which to some would make RP more logical for WFCK plus a credible source explicitly said RP would be in Kingdom. Cyclonus is in Kingdom confirmed with Scourge being confirmed for SS86 so it looks like HTT is being smart and NOT double dipping at least not now in these early stages etc, they are being smart in where they place each character and in terms of Leader Class slots, SS is likely going to have its hands full with Dinobots, Grindor and others so Kingdom seems like the only place for RP.

 

I don't know guys I'm just throwing out ideas, I just feel like we are putting a lot of faith in rumors and leaks when all of this is still very much in the air and things could still change. Especially since Studio Series and Kingdom are going to be so closely related next year it is just making things more difficult.

Punch/Counterpunch was an entirely new mold that was only sold via amazon in a bundle with a primemaster, so new molds as exclusives has happened before, and within the last several years

 

Yeah, I think those are the two I'd pick. Huffer has never had a really good G1 accurate toy, and the Thrilling 30 Gears was fine if you were in the right store on the right day at the right time and picked up one from the single case they got in.

I'm in for whoever the commander is too. Jetfire and skylynx are both great. I want a great rodimus but I was hoping the commander would be someone different. I guess this just means I'll be sticking around after WFC trilogy  

 

I know its a bit of coincidence we are getting G2 Megatron (who also formed the basis for BW II Megastorm) but I wonder if Kingdom will see any Japanese BW nods.

 

Yea, I'm still surprised we didn't get Drift/Deadlock from Springer

I thought Punch/Counterpunch could have been retooled into a Deadlock/Drift figure. Or even Pointblank if retooled to remove the second robot mode.

 

...Y'know what? Even leaving aside the dual-robot mode thing to have it switch between Drift and Deadlock, the Punch/Counterpunch mold actually seems like a pretty good fit for Drift.

 

Even if Waspinator was one of the figures that will probably not be in the line, I can live without it because I still have the Generations one.

 

I'm looking at the bright side, this means if Hasbro does him there's still a chance he'll have a more squared chest and match up better with Streakers alt mode.

 

Yea, would also make a perfect mercenary figure if they did do Drift/Deadlock

 

If Kingdom Terrorsaur ever becomes a thing I hope he comes with his sniper rifle from the show

 

I'd consider it a crime if a BW line lacked Waspinator. However, like you, I'm fine with the T30 one.
