I didn't know how to describe it, but besides the general appearance he was an excellent attempt at recreating the PMOP inner robo/trailer body concept.

That's cool to hear. Does your contact also have info on if we're also getting BW Inferno or not? If he can't due to risk being caught you don't have to answer.

In terms of sheer mechanical execution, I agree with you. But on the face value of the toy, not so much - as it was meant to evoke the evolution of Orion Pax into Optimus Prime.

Powermaster Prime, as writ, is a base-form Optimus combining with his trailer into a Super Mode. The Star Convoy retool is closer to PMOP by that measure.

Which is to say nothing of the notion that PMOP cuts a distinct and drastically different visual silhouette in comparison to stock 1984 Optimus Prime - which the combined POTP skews closer toward. But I'm really getting into the weeds here. Apologies.

I'd buy an accurate Commander Class Power Master Prime. For sure!

Right, PotP Prime and TR PMOP are essentially two bites at a similar apple. Had they put the Star Convoy bot in the PotP torso and called it PMOP I wouldn't have been upset.

Now I fully expect a Siege Leader style PMOP soon.

I hope the fur sculpt on primal is closer to the prime 1 and flametoys designs rather than the smoother look of the original. I'm also curious what they'll do for beast wars selects, perhaps toy decos?

I would love to see a toy accurate Primal. I always preferred the black over the all gray

This This This! I watched BW but I find the look of the bots to be boring.

    That works 100%

That's a nice alternate take, def better than those but ugly mobile game designs, but if that's where Hasbro takes Kingdom, I'm saving a lot of $$ by skipping yet another year of WFC.

Can’t tell what the piece it’s for. It seems to be used to flip up something? Shape wise it reminds me of the original butt gun that Tigatron, or even a transformation piece. It’s far too early to tell based on one piece, but I’m 30% sure he’s a voyager.

They’ve started work on Kingdom, so it’s too early to tell.

Cool, if you could get some pics from your source without revealing who they are that'd be cool. Would be the first concrete leak for KINGDOM.

DM some of us with the pics so they aren't public public but still shared. Worked great for ER Prime, I hear

So people would prefer that no one gets their definitive BW cast and instead get stylised versions of the cast, just so G1 fans don’t have to sit it out for a year?

Sounds like there's going to be as many G1 figures as BW, if not more. Anyone not wanting Beasts can always spend their money on SS 86.

Let’s hope that the beasts are BW accurate and SS 86 is movie accurate, so both groups are satisfied. I’ve never had an organic beastformer, so I’m excited for just Kingdom.

Yep. Hopefully accuracy will be the name of the game going forward.
