not kingdom, we're out of space.
not selects, too much retooling would be required.
At the virtual unboxing, a Hasbro employee teased a darker purple redeco. Or maybe was making a joke?
I'd say "be careful what you wish for" to the OP. There might be enough tooling budget IF it's an Earthrise retool type thing that's 40% Flywheels. You know, swap the wings for propellers, swap the tank treads for wheels.
Seriously, though, I don't think any 86-89 characters who have been done since CW are getting re-dos in the main CHUG line except MAYBE triple changers at this point. I'd still place money on a Topspin and Twintwist TR reissue in the next 18 months. Guys like Whirl and Roadbuster might get a refresh first.
I'd imagine the next time we see already produced targetmasters or duocons in new molds will be 2025. It feels to me like outside the big 6 or so on each side, you get one mold per decade. The triplechangers might be an exception just because about half are major characters and the other half have wildly varying looks.
I can't imagine most toy-only or predominantly toy characters getting re-dos.
No, sweetie, I'm sorry but it's not the kind of Armada you're thinking of. It's not Armada Cyclonus, but Cyclonus's Armada: Cyclonus's Armada - Transformers Wiki
I miss Armada too, and I still dream of that Armada Prime they showed off last year, but it's probably best to temper your expectations till after Kingdom is done before we can expect any possible Armada revisits.
Same, I loved BattleTrap when it was released but Flywheels doing the gimmick 100% faithfully retroactively ruined Battletrap for me and made all his flaws even more prominent and glaring.
Although I don't expect it to ever happen to be honest. We're lucky we got the first one period.
Anyone think that Mercenaries will still be a thing in Kingdom?
Will any Beast Wars redecos be included with Mercs, I wonder? Like Pakrat or Shadow Panther.
Hey so anyone else want to join me in willing a Goose Game x Transformers figure in to existence?
Perhaps using the Airazor mold.
I could see it. I thought maybe the Fossilizers would fall in to this group, but alas.
Though any Merc would likely be in Selects or Exclusive. I think they're a little gunshy about dropping too many factions at retail.
yeah i can see more of them but what im thinking is that cyclonus and galvatron will be mercenaries
I'm curious if Dinobot will be sold as a Mercenary...
probably not in Kingdom itself, but MAYBE in Selects.
well he might be a predacon but in the show he might be a mefcenary
Given how much they changed the G1 characters in the Netflix show, I wouldn't be surprised if Blackarachnia or Dinobot or maybe Shadow Panther were a mercenary
Didn't his box have the Predacon mark? Because he was never for hire. He switched sides.
i mean doubledealer a merc yet he has a decepticon symbol on his box
I liked that though, because Doubledealer's whole thing is you don't know he's a merc.
Being labeled a Con but revealing he's a merc once you get him out of the box is a great touch.
He specifically wouldn't have a merc label on his body.
i can see them being a mercenary i many ways from what i saw in the show
TM2 Blackarachnia was a Predacon even as a TM2. Her figure had a swappable Emblem but she was in a case with Cybershark who was a Maximal.
I think Hasbro would take tremendous heat if they shipped Cyclonus with a merc logo after preorders showed him with a Decepticon insignia.
Also, Kingdom's whole theme is likely time travel given the golden disk in artwork.
Dinobot's spark chamber might have a merc logo.
My money is on any merc logo figures other than that being in Netflix wave 3 or Selects.
i had no idea her toy could do that
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOO POGIMUS PRIME
