The strange part is losing the fan vote does not mean he would be less popular than a fosilizer or rhe other new characters like that. He would definitely beat polar claw im sure

 

Pixelmasters behind the scenes details (any info beyond X character is coming) has consistently proven to be incorrect, don't take his word as gospel

No this is one of those cases where he's right on the money. The person we got this info works directly for Hasbro and how it works is basically that CAD files for each fan vote character are basically done or at least partly so and whoever wins basically gets touched up and finished. I assume there are two versions of Needlenose out there, whether or not we'll see him in the future is unknown, I bet we'll end up seeing deluxe Insecticons before that even happens haha.

 

False. Fan vote. There had to have been a design in the works at some point. Every other fan-vote character has been made or is about to be released/relreleased. (Wheeljack, Spinister, Impactor, Mirage, Tracks). The source is Hasbro itself lol

I, for one, welcome more Decepticons that aren't A) Seekers, or B) repaints.

 

Him being in a fan vote is more of a confirmed possibility than it is a rumored leak though and definitely doesn't apply to the context of this conversation

 

Honestly, that's just semantics. They wouldn't have floated the idea out there if they didn't have a feasible concept of the figure at the very least. It most certainly applies to the conversation. Or is this not the speculation thread?

 

Ok then let me rephrase.

The context of this thread is Kingdom speculation, Needlenose has not been rumored for Kingdom by any reputable sources (including Hasbro) despite being in the fan votes for Siege and Earthrise (both of which are not Kingdom, therefore any speculation on those lines and their fan votes is somewhat unrelated to the context of this thread).

This is a speculation thread; I'm speculating. It's most certainly related to the context of this thread because there's been probable evidence to support that, at some point, Needlenose was in the works. Maybe he will be released? Until we see images of physical product and/or renderings from an official Hasbro source (rather than these "sources"), any speculation is fair game.

Is needlenose possible? Yes. Is there precedent for a fan vote runner up to get made? Yes for both of his votes (see: wheeljack, spinister, tracks, Gnaw). Is needlenose likely? No, no leaker has hinted at his inclusion thus far in any line. Yes, exclusives are a wildcard, but we can't rely on that. Best hope is 2022's line

 

Funny thing was, the trading card of WFC Needlenose had him as another tetrajet.

 

Hasbro always says they listen to fan. But how many times we mention Terrorsaur, Inferno and Tarantulas. They could hear us now. But it could take years to make them. We may not see them till maybe the 30th anniversary.

 

it's not like they can pump out figures in a matter of days, it takes planning and all that to make new molds and find a place for them in a line

 

I'm surprised there is no fan vote for the 3rd part. But if there is one where they ask if you want like Terrorsaur, Inferno or Polar Claw, I would be in raged... But I'd vote for Inferno.

 

Do I want those figures? Yes.

But I'm gonna focus on what we are getting, rather than not getting. I suggest you do the same. If Hasbro likes the demand for beast wars over the next year, we will definitely see more.

 

Another thing tells me that they were planned, but because of what's going on now, they had to reduce the line. So the plans for those 3 are either delayed or cancelled.

 

The retail line seems to be just as big as Siege and Earthrise (accounting for the fact that 1 wave of ER was given to Siege), granted Kingdom does have a leader and 2 deluxe repacks, so you might be on to something to a degree

 

As of now, there is no evidence for this. The original artwork that has Polar Claw does not have any of those three characters. No leaker seems to have any knowledge of them.

It seems like they were planned to be gone from the start.
