Bummer again, now it sounds to me Kingdom UM is more of homage to the 86 toy than the toon.

My Kingdom UM excitement just drop, lol.

Agree with you. The WFC design is far better than the PW design. Siege leaders have also a better play value than POTP leaders.

 

Can't disagree more. Ultra Magnus is one character where I prefer the toon iteration to the toy version, so a design that allows the truck to fully transform into the robot without partsforming will always be far superior to a design that uses the robot in armor approach.

Personally I'd like a robot in armour that can also transform in one go, for the times I like displaying unarmoures magnus and for when I just want to take a pic in vehicle mode.

 

BW 20th was going to be it's own subline, SS86 was going to be WFC 3. That should be clear as the WFC story was clearly a linear progression from the last battle on Cybertron to the 1986 movie. That's why HasLab Unicron was being made. Things clearly changed. I'm not sure what happened, but I suspect the 86 movie toys were moved to SS when it became clear there wasn't going to be a new live action movie anytime soon, they had a large hole to be filled in that line. The live action SS figures we've seen so far for 2021 are rather...sad, so it's probably for the best that people will be distracted by Dinobots and Hot Rod instead of two more Bumblebee repaints to shelfwarm.

 

I see! Either way i guess the trilogy still foes represent 3 different ages in transformers history, Cybertronian Modes, Earth Modes and Beast Modes! Rather than Cybertron, Earth, and the Future that it could've been

That really would be ideal. You could have the best of both worlds. But I don't think that can be realistically done.

In a way its a shame we know so much about the main line. As far as that go the year is planned out. Im still super hyped for exclusive stuff as I think that is where some of the lost bots and missing characters will end up

 

I'd be so glad to see both of them either as core or deluxe class figures!

 

I'd rather have those than remakes of the ape and t-rex.

 

Guys I have a question, well it is most for the leakers.... Someone knows the future plans for Transformers, is Hasbro planning to revive another gimmick like they did with Headmasters? Maybe Pretenders? 

 

I think beasts is the gimmick for 2021. Hopefully the gimmick for 2022 will be having characters fans under thirty grew up with
