Thank you thank you! And I just got done uploading several of the more recent designs to the Thingiverse page (including those new "Macross" missiles). Download away, my friend!

EDIT: And in case you're wondering, the missiles Soundwave is wearing were printed using clear PLA at a layer height of 0.05mm and painted using Testors acrylics.

@Awesomepow Do you have any input on the Nova or Ion effects as they stand right now? Let me know if you would like any changes. I’m going to edit the Acid effect...I don’t like it yet...

Great. Don't be shy about requesting changes if something doesn't look right. I'm going to do a little work to Ion to make it more printer friendly...and I'm going to restyle Acid...hopefully tonight...

A little redesigning and Blender work done to the Ion Storm effect (plain version on left...textured version on right). I'm going to work on the Acid Storm effect next...going to take a lot of modeling work...

Your POWs are about become more Awesome. The Rainmaker effects are now available on Shapeways. They are $22.82 for a set of six (two of each effect). I put together a few different test variations on the assemblies I uploaded to Shapeways, and the one you will see for sale is by far the least expensive (the other two configurations would have cost over $30 each). The price differences have to do with how much space they take up in their printer during the printing process. Apparently, it is more cost effective to configure them as a flat set as shown as opposed to placing them on top of one another. I even tried packing them as closely together as possible without the connecting sprue and it was still more expensive. Go figure.

Great idea! A whole series of Rube Goldberg effects. Could get complicated...

Thanks man! I'm going to put some more multi-packs up on Shapeways. They seem to have a $6 minimum price, which is a bit much to ask for one of these. If I do 6-packs, I think I can drop the price to around $3 each (still a lot for a small effect part...but better than $6).

Can you do the proton stream from ghostbusters? They are compatible with ectotron after all
