I've been thinking about this for a while and sketched out some ideas a couple weeks ago. Some of them are practical effects (pew pews, lasers, beams, etc.) and some of them are just plain ridiculous-ish. I'll get started with one of those.

I'll probably put these on Thingiverse and Shapeways after I work out the kinks. Comment at-will.

EDIT: I now have a Thingiverse page with these items. New stuff will be added as I complete them. WFC Siege Effects by fjschuler

EDIT 2: I am now putting things up on my Shapeways store...keep an eye on it for updates. Frank Schuler - 3D Printables by fjschuler - Shapeways Shops

EDIT 3: Shapeways seems to be having some issues at the moment...the models I've uploaded keep appearing and disappearing. Stay tuned...

Behold: The WFC Rocket Punch. Mazinger would be hella jelly. I'm going to run this through Blender...or something...to add some extra deets to the flame trail...and maybe even some smoke or a vapor trail or something.

I love the idea of a rocket punch siege effect part, good luck on the rest of the project.

I added some "smoke trail" details and did some Blender work. Keep in mind that this is a fairly low-poly model. Some of the surface roughness that can be seen on the model will smooth out after printing due to how small the object is (around 44mm total length, currently). I'm going to try to print one today to see how it looks and functions.

This turned out better than I expected! I printed it in silver PLA at a 50 micron layer height (printed in two halves that I glued together after printing to minimize the need for supports.

Well, thanks! Any requests? These things are actually pretty quick and easy to produce.

I like the direction you're going with these.
I suggest pile driver effect to attach to the inevitable rumble release (his hand has a peg on its knuckles)

Awww damn...that's a great idea. He might look great...if not a little funny...holding the rocket punch as well. I'm on it.

Piledriver Attempt #1 (the symbols are Cybertronian for "RIB"). :D  More details will be added after I let my brain marinate in the idea for a while...

Love it. But pretty sure the cassette hands have pegs, not ports (unless the black part is a subtraction shape)
Man, wfc might be the best thing for fandom creativity since headmasters
