I'm planning on using that part from SIEGE Cog as Roller.

 

I was considering that, but I don’t have Cog and don’t know if it’s worth buying. I have Sixgun and Brunt, which served a great purpose on my shelf (weapons for Ironhide Sideswipe, and Trypticon), but I don’t know if Cog is worth being essentially a apex/godbomber/Roller stand in.

Edit: well after some consideration I think the most bang for your buck is Siege Cog. He is essentially two Rollers.

 

I kind of wish that they would have made the front wheels fold up into the torso like the Siege version. Everything else is nearly perfect, but the buttflap wheels are a big negative.

That is one of the all time great TF molds. It's seriously like a Voyager at Scout scaling.

I have some bad news...
I got it from a very reliable source that the back half of this guy's head is not blue plastic but that it's actually RED plastic painted blue.

Just an FYI to avoid paint chipping...
Or if you like you can switch the head with the Siege one as they are the same.

 

Of all the parts to NOT reuse from Siege Prime...

 

The head is exactly the same part so you can just switch them...

I bought a spare Breacher years ago in the anticipation that eventually there would be an Optimus Prime with a trailer that he can sub in for roller.

 

So I got one on the way as well for a good price to test it out. Will post pictures here in a few days with it

 

Once Breacher got promoted to Wrecker status, I could no longer just consider him Roller, he has to be his own character. So my Roller for ER will just be the micromaster that came with Legends Optimus.

And assuming Split Lip’s theory is correct-that all the blue plastic parts are straight from the Siege mold and no new blue parts were made for Earthrise, it would lead me to believe that the back half of Siege Prime’s head is on a sprue that is otherwise going unused on ER Prime, so they just made a new back half (which is functionally identical) on the red sprue instead. This would mean that the Siege Prime head is perfectly interchangeable with ER Prime.

 

OP, do you have the 2013 Thrilling 30 Legends Class Optimus Prime figure’s Roller by chance? Some comparisons of that figure with the upcoming ER Optimus Prime would be cool.
