For all intents and purposes, what we saw in that first episode of Transformers was Grapple under a different name. So if you want that Hauler, buy two Grapples and call one Hauler.

That said, I want Constructicon green Hauler and then I want a Generations version of Gravedigger to complete the "extra constructicons" set. ha.

Not to be a broken record as I've asked a couple times pages back, but would someone mind posting a side by side of ER Grapple with MP Grapple?

I like this guy but he is very light.

Also, I lost the QC lottery and so mine needs to go back.

I shaved the pegs alongside his head down a bit with a sharp blade so they don't get stuck in his feet. I might have trimmed a bit too much ...there is now pretty much no friction at all, but that's OK.

Picked up mine tonight. Pegs are tight. I'll do a little sanding or something. Thanks for all the advance warning.

Really really like the fig. IF we dont get an Inferno, Artfire and Hauler.....I'll just have to paint my own.

Now Toyhax......PLEASE release some stickers for this poor barren figure!!!

Got Earthrise Grapple the other day. This version of Grapple is better in almost every way than RTS Grapple, other than vehicle size. The accessories make all of the difference.

I am pleasantly surprised. Wasn't expecting to like him much, since I didn't really care about the character. It's a fun and recommended toy, however.

Just watch out for the two pegs that peg the crane mount into the bottoms of his feet for conversion. The pegs can snap off really easily if you push them in too hard and then try to force them out. Sanding the pegs down so they fit into the holes a bit more loosely will solve the problem.

I’d like to see an OS KO of this to get a better scaled vehicle mode.

Not the greatest angle to tell, but I think that might be the cover plate from his Prime Armor.

That's the clear insert from his "Prime Armor" fist/foot piece.

I'm on the fence on this guy... the more I see him, the more he's growing on me, but I just really don't care for the character.
Plus, if we have a chance in hell of getting a neon greenish Hauler/Roadhauler repaint out of this guy, I definitely want to wait for that.
    Decisions, decisions...

While I'm getting Grapple, I'm still eagerly anticipating the inevitable Inferno release. Even if he, similarly, was a character who was barely notable in the cartoon, I have a soft-spot for the design since he was one of the few 'toon characters I owned as a kid (via his G2 release), and I've not been a fan of his Generations and PotP renditions because they barely resemble him.

Yep clear piece that never left his hand since I got him . I only want a green Hauler out of this mold too. Grapple is great though.
