I've seen him referred to as Slaughterhouse. And I want one too.

So i got a new lamp for my bedside table and had to set up the seekers with it. Thundercracker gets the seat since he’s always been my favorite of the three :)

Got mine finally after a long series of disappointing phone calls.

Thundercracker unfortunately has easy to remove wings just like his g1 toy but should be easy to fix.

Hope they show up more for people who have trouble searching.

Siege had better articulation but these at least have the iconic jet modes and a step up from the original classics mold. Hope Hasbro doesn't abuse it to mold degradation hell.

I regret this purchase. Thundercracker's left wing comes off way too easily and it does not peg tight or flush in jet mode like the right side does.

I wish it had landing gear and paint on the tail fin.

Edit: I used my Dremel to fix the wing. I shouldn't have had to do that though. Dammit Hasbro.

This kind of has me nervous as my Screamer had good wings but it seems like these guys have a higher chance of wing issues.

Anybody that’s not happy with their Thundercracker, go ahead and send him my way. :)  I only want TC out of the 2, so happy to work something out with a willing party.

How did you use the dremel to fix it?

I'll do my best to explain.

Here is how my Thundercracker looked when I got him. The left wing popped off all the time and it did not sit flush with the fuselage. You can see this in the black oval in the picture:

    TCracker.jpg

After messing around with it, it seemed to me that that there was too much plastic in the hole on the wing where the peg from the fuselage plugs in.

First, here is a picture of the right wing (the one that pegs fine, doesn't pop off, and sits flush with the fuselage). Notice the yellow line, that is how far the peg goes in:

    TCracker2.jpg

Now check out the left (aka bad) wing. Look at the yellow line and you will see that the peg doesn't go in as far. You can push it in further but it will always go back. There is actually a tiny circle in the plastic that you can see in this picture (right above the yellow line). You can use that as a reference point. There is a circle on the other side too (it's not real visible in the picture above). That circle is halfway into the joint in the "good" wing but it is completely out of the joint in the "bad" wing (seen below):

    TCracker3.jpg

So I decided to use my Dremel to shave some of the plastic at the top end of the hole on the wing where the peg on the fuelage goes into. See the yellow circle in the pic below. I was careful not to actually enlarge the hole towards the bottom end because I was afraid that it might not peg in anymore. I just kind of widened the top part of the hole where the yellow is below:

    TCracker4.jpg

Now my wing pegs in and sits flush with the fuselage just like the other side:

    UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_1a640.jpg

The wing still pops off fairly easily during transformation. However, it sits tight and flush when it is in robot and jet mode (which is what I wanted) and it doesn't pop off while in either mode.

    Hope that helps!

    Helps BIGTIME!

...funny because you would think that widening that hole would make the wing fall off MORE.

Remember- it’s just the top half of the hole - I wouldn’t mess with the diameter towards the bottom of the hole where the notches on the peg “latch” - if that makes any sense.

I don't have mine in front of me, but are they concentric circles? ...and you just widened the first/bigger one?
    I kinda understand.

Yeah kind of - the hole is wider at the top and gradually narrows towards the bottom. It’s hard to explain. I’m sorry that I can’t make it clearer.

So is it just me or for those of you who have the ER seekers notice that Starscream's face is a shade darker than Skywarp and Thundercracker's faces?

    Found this set myself today.

Incidentally, if they make a Cybertronian Heroes version who would you like to see in it?

I think Inferno and someone else.

I'm so pissed! The crotch plate clearance on these guys are so tight, I'm already getting paint chipping.

I hardly have transformed Starscream, so I don't know if he has the same problem? Such a bummer this trio has such issues.

Yeah, Starscream’s face is more of a gunmetal like Netflix Megatron, pretty sure Skywarp and Thundercracker are the same silver as their chests...
