A lynx that can separate and turn into at least a vague impression of a crawler transporter (with treads and a flat top) was exactly what I was hoping for when the CW figure was announced, so I'm quite pleased the new one does just that.

(granted I was also hoping for combiner limbs that turned into the external fuel tank and rocket boosters to make it more realistic, but that was always a pipe dream)

Fantastic figure. I got a question since I haven't seen this in pics so far: are his hinds legs double jointed? Because they look like it, if so can they be posed somewhat like a digitigrade? I mean bent backwards at the first knee joint then forward at the next, not sure if I'm explaining it right.

Some unimportant question: Can he be posed like uhh... how to say it... dog/cat sitting upright?

    Figure looks aces!
I wonder if some 3rd party company will come out with an upgrade kit for the bird feet. Longer toes that can splay out would not only look better, but would also help with dealing with the front heaviness of the figure.

As awesome as ER Skylynx mold is, the scale doesn't work for me. He's a joke when standing next to Predaking and even Siege Skyfire is taller than him.

He looks pretty much perfect. I don't really care for Sky Lynx's design but man, if I did I would be salivating.

He looks so good that I'm still considering him. ... if he goes on sale like Skyfire did.

    But still. Looks nice.

If folks are unloading CW Skylynx I’d buy one.

Even though I sold my CW Sky Lynx and limbs, I still think it was a neat toy (and one of the best combiner torsos as well). However this is pretty much the perfect Sky Lynx and I can't wait to have it. I love that they added the base mode, it adds so much playability.

It’s for my kids, so no.

The CW was the right price and size for my kids but I could never find it in stores. And this thing looks awesome but as Skylynx is something my kids want, I’m not sure I’m ready to drop $80 for it.

Question for those that have him:

Can the crawler/Lynx section be flipped over, and the legs twisted/reversed so that the shuttle can be mounted vertically, (like it is in base-mode) to look like an actual shuttle/crawler combo? Maybe the ramp will need to be lifted up or something the like?

    See attached image for reference:

    Second request:

Could someone shoot a couple photos with Sky Lynx and Six-gun? (Maybe with Cog too?)

I have a feeling they might look good together... But the colors might not match well.

You can probably manage something but Magnificence is mounted with some pegs from the base sticking up into it's engines, very similar to Astrotrain.

There's a convincing tower mode in the base though, just by flipping it onto it's back.

And there's moulded crawler treads on top of the crawler/lynx which make it look like it's intended to be mounted TOP DOWN for SOMETHING other than just the base mode

Thanks. I am so gosh darn excited :)

I wonder if the shuttle can latch onto the Omega rocket somehow... like it was the booster.

Not really in platform mode as two wheels prevent the shuttle from pegging in secure . You can get a sort of works version with the tail fin slightly repositioned 20200605_111556(1).jpg

Does anyone have any pics of him with magic square/newage bots? I know the MMC one looks good with them so curious about this one
