i would love a split screen multi player i would love to see more characters and levels BUT you want to know what i would love the most THEM to fix the errors in the game
This is why I'd have been an awful lot happier if any other publisher than Activision had managed to grab the TF license after Atari dropped it. (Except Ubisoft, they're almost as bad.) But OT, I'd love me some more Campaign, even if it was just a few chapters.
Actually, whoever put up the headline on the front page, actually it only said with "NEW CHARACTERS", but that's as far as it went, it didn't mention any maps, or how many characters (but given that it's plural, I think it's safe to assume at least two *coughDeadEndandZetaPrimecough*)
What really gets me about Highmoon, is their insistence that the PC doesn't have a platform for DLC distribution, like XBox Live, when it, in fact, has Games for Window Live, which does exactly that. Not to mention Steam, which the game is already on. I know it's their first PC game, but this level of incompetence is just ridiculous. Capcom is surprisingly good with PC games, now. Hell, all of their current games made with MT Framework, essentially start out as PC games, and are then ported to consoles. This causes the PC versions to be incredibly optimized.
The term is couldn't care less. Because by saying you can care less it literally means you can care less than you care now. Just saying because it's getting really annoying how people are using this term. Anyway, I knew this would be released. It's only fair to those who still play the game. Also like 600/800 ms points is about average. It all depends on what's inside. 2 characters could be like 200 points. I downloaded DLC for Lost Planet 2 which let you do a time trial for facing every boss in the game (Rush Arena) and it also gave me one costume. It was also 240 ms
This would've been more exciting were it not for the fact that the issues in multiplayer have yet to be resolved. Lag, Host Migration, Cheating etc. ruin the experience... not to mention the inability to mute children that insist on yelling obscenities or eating into the headset. Seriously, WTF High Moon?!? You asked us for feedback then totally ignored it. To the PC users upset by poor support - you're not missing anything really. I never get to play the new maps since most of the community didn't buy them... on the rare occasion they appear on the playlist, they get Veto'd. I hate to say this, but I actually expected the PC support to be terrible before the game was released, which is why I paid extra to get the PS3 version instead. PC ports of console game ALWAYS suck (not to be confused with games developed in parallel, which are sometimes OK). Even with these issues aside, the price/content ratio of the last DLC was pretty poor. The only way I'd buy the new one is if they fix the issues mentioned in the first paragraph of this post. No amount of x4 XP weekends are going to hide the mess you made of this game. A real shame.
Get them to add White as a customisable colour and I'd be up for it. I still play the multiplayer regularly, but it's the only game I use Xbox Live for. As soon as I'm done with the game I'll drop live entirely. From what I've heard multiplayer is just as smooth on PS3 and it doesn't cost me £6 a month. It might be cheaper to buy an Xbox, but it's more expensive to run it :/

don't you mean couldn't? Personally I might wait to see what it has in store, I'm pretty skint right now, graduating from university on wednesday so I doubt I'm going to bother with it straight away until i get a job/get bored of metroid. might just save my money for when the new left for dead 1/2 content comes out.
My hope is that they work out a good fix to keep the community together. Booting people out who don't have the DLC they need, it's going to segregate an already small community. You'll have people who don't have any DLC, only DLC #1, only DLC #2, or both. That's going to be a pain in the ass.
