I have a hunch they might have a pretool head for that.
- buzzworthy for all the wrong reasons. Actually the main issue I have with it is the altmode. Would have preferred chibi VW, or saucermode. Obviously Spike is a bit of a joke, but so what.
Is it reasonable to assume it's to scale with these guys?
It's also not parts-forming, but that doesn't stop people from complaining anyway.
I'm so gonna get this, just wish the car mode wasn't so blocky. Feels more like it'd fit Cliffjumper more, which stinks cuz that robot mode? *chef kiss* Maybe someone can make an add on with rounder feet that clip over these blocky shoes of his.
This post hit me with some spontaneous insight. I remember a long while back before MP-21 was released that VW finally allowed Hasbro to use their licensed Beetle so long as they agreed to use the older 50s model and not use the bright yellow colour. To compensate, Hasbro later released MP-45. I think it's a similar thing all over again only this time, a change in scale as well (I'm assuming anyway). I don't know if they can use the same mold or license under another colour. Perhaps someone with better knowledge on the subject can confirm with the correct info on this. It's just foggy in my mind at the present moment.
As for my opinions on this, I like the alt mode and colours. I can't really get into anything else other than the Spike figure. I am really looking forward to reviewers to get this in hand (nudges PrimevPrime).
That's a great point. Fingers crossed on the upgrade kit idea though for a figure like this I doubt it.
What upgrade kit idea?
Beetle styled/rounder feet pieces that slide over his current feet like shoes to make the alt mode look a bit more Beetle-ish.
Actually a bumper mold
Cyberverse AND Siege Art
Who was in charge of this lol
Uh huh, right
I know it's too early, now we just need a recolor of this in Cliffjumper colors with the human being Daniel.
So Spoke is a Battle Master?
No, Spike is a minifigure that can only move it's arms and transforms by doing a belly flop
Why no ball joints? At least the hips and shoulders...
Again Pretender Shell articulation?
the torso and legs is a single molded piece. He only has articulation at the shoulders and there is a folding butt flap that changes position for belly flop mode
Finally a figure I am interested in which I do not need to be worried about being preordered and then sold out from the sounds of it!
Apparentely he is a target exclusive, unless you don't live in the US
Thank you for proving my point
Wait, so Target for real?
Depending how big this is, a 3rd party head, or even the GS Hubcap head would be a cool add on. I don't need my CJ and Hubcap to be the same mold.
I'm getting this for Spike anyway.
The \"transformation\" on that Spike is hilarious. XD
I\'m thinking this Bee is more like Cliffjumper in that it\'s a small Deluxe rather than a Core Class which are the new Legends.
