Funny story AKsmith, but it has a weird twilight zone zing to it.
I remember that A.K. Smith thing... I would have loved to have been there to see the bubble burst.
I get the feeling I'm the weirdo in the toy aisle sometimes.
Well, obviously, he was your future self, and when he realised he was talking to himself, he had to take back what he'd said to prevent some kind of deadly paradox.
Heh. Not exactly my fault the kids of today are stupid and have no motor skills beyond that of using a skateboard or mobile phone.
A kid that collects transformers should be able to also pull that transformation off, heck I know that I would have when I was that age. Maybe I should recommend them some duplo next time.
Heh, feels like that sometimes when I stroll on into TRU.
I felt like the weirdo in Argos, when the new catalogue came out on Jan 21st.
Standing in the que for the Collection-point, to collect Crumplezone + Snarl (i really regret the Snarl thing), happened to glance over at someguy who kept staring at my order slip, he looked about 19.
As I got the figures and was walking away from the Collection point, He actually was collecting A Prime he'd bought.
So After I was preparing to be mocked or have abuse hurled at, (it happens frequently to me), It turned out that he was buying toy's himself.
(Also, to eliminate any doubt that it was a present to a kid, he was sitting outside Argos a little while later, playing with it.)
So, It just goes to show, you may feel like the only Weirdo, but you might not be.
