Once I found a G1 Wideload next to a drinking fountain at the park.
Found my G1 Optimus missing a fist at an Antique Store... in a bin with some micromasters.
The sign said "Transformers--- Remember these?"
i remember i found a g2 prime in the box in the trash on the side of the road once when i was walking home from the bus stop. (1996-1997 maybe?) someone's parents must have got mad at em and thrown it out.
The first time I found and bought a Movie Concept Bumblebee was at Kolhs. I was like WTF?!
I found a g1 optimus with trailer and roller at the salvation army for $10.
me to hmmm...
Kolhs stocks toys y'know!
Me, I once found a Generation 2 Gobots Ironhide and all 3 of the small missile-firing-handed Generation 2 Decepticon jets (Hooligan & etc.) at a discount store in 1999, YEARS after their release!
And a couple years back, they also started to carry Universe toys and Cybertron Legends-Class figures. Now however, they only have an already opened Universe-packaging Energon Barricade stashed on the top toy shelf to remind me of those days...
Well, I don't think I ever expected to see so many TFs every time I go into my room...
i found 2 G1s MISB in the garbage .. forgotten xmas gifts the parents chucked.. G1 Ransack and G1 Targetmaster Pointblank .. then found a near case fresh G1 smokescreen in a basement while cleaning it out .. Also a forgotten xmas gift that was wraped for 20 plus years lol .. Mine now
Found a bunch of micromasters and G1 minibots at a salvation's army.
Inside a certain female board member.
I miss the fuzzy world.
I found some Legends of Cybertron at a local grocery store once... Other than that, I can't really think of anything.
That dude who found all those TFs & Joes at the trash dump in KY should post in here, best find ever! *wish I had luck like that*
Two times have I ever really been surprised. Once, while playing outside in the backyard of a neighbor, I found burried in some dirt two of the constructicons. This was back in '89. I asked him if it was alright if I kept them and said "sure", and he had no idea where they came from.
The second time was finding a complete Movie Voyager Blackout for $3 in the home decor area of a Goodwill.
would that be the female that used G-1 Astrotrain as a pleasure toy? lol
A near complete G-1 Sunstreaker in a school playground a few years ago... I guess a parent or older sibling gave it to a child and it got left in there... only things missing were the hands and missiles which i easly replaced.
Two M.I.S.B. Gaken Alpha Fighters one Blue (Scott) one Green (Rand) during a trip to a cousin's house he didn't want them and freely gave them to me
Found a stack of loose TFs and accessories in the communal rubbish bin at my old house, nice haul included a near complete overlord and scorponok, guess a neighbour had a clear out as I also scored an X-wing
When I was a child, there was this interior decoration store...well anyway, they basically sold wallpapers, carpets, floor tiles, paint...you know, those kinda stores. And toys.
It was kinda quirky on hindsight; a combined home improvement and toy store. Fun for the whole family, that was for certain...I don't think that store exists anymore, though. And even if it does, it definitely won't be selling the same stuff than when I was a kid. If only I could go back in time...
