I opened up the crotch to lube the ratchets for the forward backward movement and found the ratchets already have lube. The problem is the spring is very thick/strong. I removed a small portion of the spring so now the forward/backward leg motion works smooth without sounding like it’s going to break. Only have to remove the front crotch plate so the entire waist does not have to come apart.

 

Missed this post. UG is shorter. It’s just the camera angle that makes them look the same height.

Does anyone know the measurement of the overall thickness (from tip of foot to the backback) of this figure? I ordered him and was wondering if it fits in my display shelf. Thanks in advance.

 

I don't have mine in front of me, but he's pretty thick. I could guesstimate, but I can't tell if the 23.6 inches is head to toe, or wingtip to toe. I'd say he's at least 7-8 inches thick, tho.

You need 28cm deep shelves to fit absolute minimum I.e. IKEA Billy Bookcase. However you really need a 35cm plus i.e. Hemnes. This is based on mine and my display shelves.

Just to confirm, he's basically 27cm front of foot to back of backpack and 64cm to tip of wing (a stance first ratchet click)
