I love the Cyclopian head. Wanted a Guardian and this can do double duty as Guardian and as Omega Lugnut from Animated.

    Coors Light though......flavored water.:lolol

I'm lightweight having buyer's remorse for getting the original version when I already had DX9's OS... if I could swap out my Omega deco for the Guardian deco, and then get another Guardian... I'd do that :)

I know the Guardians are supposed to be kind of fat looking but I like the idea of Omega SUPREME being the biggest, toughest, most heavily-armored Guardian robot just as much. The more 'open', scaffold-like design of the Wei Jiang version suggests (to me at least) a less refined, 'earlier' mode, so this REALLY works for me.

That said... I probably am out, since my budget is tighter now and there are so many expensive figures I want (Kingzilla, Kingorilla, Dracula, Blitzkrieg... all of those are in the same price range). If someone ends up trading me my Wei Jiang Omega deco for the Guardian deco, that's probably the only way I'll end up with one.

Got this today and been messing around with it just now when I should be sleeping before work tomorrow morning. DocBot is amazing. Love it. Drone though.... Ratchet-y all over, nice. Arms had to be lined up then forced in. Tank was a head scratcher until I watched Ben say down and push in. The wings/backpack were easy. Now the xxxxxxxx legs! Bens video was shite here. Book instructions sucked. Took me forever to get the four pegs to finally slide into the holes to make the calves. There had to be a better way to combine that area. Now that he’s in bot mode he looks amazing and he’s fun.

Haven’t gone to base mode yet.

Now Gabriel vs Drone? Transformation Dx9 Gabriel hands down. Intuitive and really fun.

Play? Don’t know yet but I’m leaning towards Drone since he’s got all that electronic and moving tank and stuff. Need batteries.

    Stability: both rock solid.

Looks? Ones Omega and the other ones Drone/Lugnutz. They both look good.

Side by side they look good together and for the price(ShowZ and his $169 price booyah!) can’t go wrong with this toy. Plus DocBot. I did mention DocBot right?

Mine landed in the States a week ago and hasn’t moved since the last update. A bit concerned about that.

Took mine out of the box this AM. I own Terminus, too.

    Pros:
    * Great overall toy. Actually fun to pose and mess with in his robot mode.
    * The lack of complexity makes him super stable and not a huge hassle to break down into base mode.
    * The doc accessory is brilliant.

    Cons
    * Gappy, and generally lacks the slick final finish that TG has.
    * Putting him together from base mode is a pain in the ass. Whoever made the decision to make his leg armor go into small pegs on the side of the leg needs to be punched a little.
    * A little fall-aparty at his forearm connectors. They pop out a little too easy.

Overall, however, I'd say he's pound for pound more fun than TG and more than adequate as a guardian drone.

Try applying a little force to the arm connectors, they should snap in securely.

There’s a persistent fear that customs is deprioritizing Chinese imports.

Oddly, the Slurdge I ordered from HZJ arrived on Saturday, and FedEx tells me to expect MFTlock after the midterms, which is the opposite of my expectations two weeks ago!

Thus, it’s somewhat “encouraging” that I’ve seen some 4P &/or 3.5P figs at ToyDojo, and I think TFSource & The Chosen Prime. Yes, it’ll be more expensive, but—and I don’t like saying it—there’s a truth to reevaluating China’s postal designation at the tax rate of a developing country.

So, if these shenanigans continue, I’ll probably be buying more MFT goodness from Toy Dojo. Stay weird, Austin, stay weird.

Last week, I tried to find that comic to no avail. I found a lot of other fun stuff, but not that particular comic.

If that Trypticon origin story is publicly available, would you please share that? :D

    Excellent!

I had the same issue with my Ultima Guard when I got him.

Look like mine finally cleared customs. It’s been a long while since I’ve had a package take so long to go through customs. This is a huge item though, wonder how much that factors. I’m still concerned that it landed in New York when I’m on the other side of the country. Hopefully it won’t take much longer to get to me. Although I still haven’t cleared a proper space for it.

He came in today. Everything went together super smooth.

    ......except for the legs.

Honestly, the person that designed those should get a punch right in the mouth!
Had to wiggle them around and finally just had to give them a good pop to get rid of that little gap in the front of the legs.

Well worth the 169 bucks, thanks Show.Z store. If dx9 or Fanstoys is out of your range this isn’t a bad figure.

Did any of your have moisture in the cannon arm under the clear plastic lid? Mine did. Doesn’t seem like it did anything but I haven’t got batteries in this thing yet.

I don’t know man, you might just have to buy him directly.

Look on the bright side though, he’ll come with a free Omega Supreme!

I'm glad you got it finally even with the strike going on. (I haven't received mine, I asked ShowZ ship to my US address instead to avoid the problem.)
BTW, what's the size of the batteries?

You bastard. Can’t unsee it now!

Came in before during the early days of the strike. I still haven’t gotten my XTB Flipout from the previous eBay sale.

Same as WJ OS. LR41 and AAA.
