As much as I want this, the more I look at pics I’m not liking how the colors mesh in combined mode. Hope to see the supposed alternate colors soon. I’d mostly like to swap out Lightspeed and Strafe if they come in more cohesive colors. Although I wouldn’t mind seeing Nosecone in blue.

 

I don't mind the colors, I was worried we were only getting that predacus thing. Maybe there will be a lot of repaints?

And only $70 for the whole set? Yes please.

 

After those doubts quibbling over the colors, it looks like a buy. If they do come out in other paints, maybe I can just replace the car. If just the car could match or swap the dark red of Scattershot that'd do a lot towards evoking classic Computron's chest piece. Also, the bright red with the dark blue makes the face subtly fade into the background. Or maybe it's just the pics or my fading eyesight.

I do also want to encourage Weijiang to make more originals like this since I really, really want them to do the Terrorcons.

 

The official, confirmed color was this from the start. The predacus color was a digibash that is done to showcase upcoming project, made by someone else, using wei jiang product.

 

And as expected, I did not get lucky... hopefully I'll get them early next week. Dunno why but the canadian customs are SLOW lately... had 3 packages stuck in customs for over a week

I think im gonna wait to read/watch a review on these i dont really wanna drop $80 without seeing more about them.

 

If i can suggest, i think make them a separate video would be better, because that way, your focus not only aimed towards building the combiner, but each figures can get an in-depth, detailed reviews as well. Plus, by making them separate, you can take a break in the middle, maybe post one each days, while building viewer's excitement, and those who are more interested on the individual figures can watch the review of the specific figures they want easier.

 

I could... just.... who in their right mind only wants one of these figures separably? lol   My guess is everyone wants them as a set so... thinking of making the video as a set. My only concern is I never really Liked computron... at all so I dont have the CW computron set to compare it to.

 

I am just giving a suggestion. I am actually one of people who is more interested on the individual bots than the combiner itself. And i gave this suggestion based on watching your ultra dino force review, as it feels rushed and kinda sloppy, to the point one of them got significantly mistransformed. This was never the case for your reviews with only one figur per videos (and despite never commented, i am one of your subscriber, and really enjoy your reviews, so let me use this chance to say thank you for your works).

The lack of side arm movement seems limiting, but overall it looks and feel solid. The combiner even has an ab crunch.

 

You can probably just get by throwing up a picture of the original compared to WJ as you do the review.

 

I really like the red head alot better than the blue was that a last minute change?

 

It looks like you can fake some of the upper arm rotation with the backwards shoulder bend. It's not perfect but may do ok. I'm also surprised at the thigh rotation working in combined mode. It's a bummer about not-Scattershot's lack of thigh rotation but it's not a showstopper for me.

 

After watching the video, I'll have to say this is a pass. Well a soft pass I guess, as I would still grab one at $50, but not at $70 where it currently sits. I like the aesthetics, but lots of finicky or non-existent articulation, particularly in the shoulders of most/all the figures.

I'm in if the Beast Wars repaints get made though. Can't resist BW.

 

Of everything, the one thing I was not prepared for was the music choices. lol
For some reason, still on the fence about this... I like the look, it seems solid, the size is good, and from what I've heard of the company, doesn't seem like it should instantly fall apart; but there is still something keeping me from pulling the trigger... Guess I'll have to keep my eye here for a bit. I look forward to reading everyones thoughts on the figures!

 

This would make for a great background Cybertronian group...
