My Walmart is also full of them.

It's both. This is the first time I had ever seen the heads stolen. How is Hasbro okay with this?

 

I mean, there is a reason AOTP is going back to windowed packaging.

 

Yeah, like @ACMagnus said, good reason for plastic windows to come back.

So much for the whole green-washing "plastic-free packaging" BS.  

 

Because they already got paid for them.

 

I mean... going for plastic-free packaging for environmental purposes is a good idea.

Packaging the Transformers in robot mode as opposed to vehicle mode? Bad idea. Too many exposed parts that can pop off. The Velocitron figures got that right.

 

And this is why stores aren't ordering half of their products any more.

Hasbro is moving back to plastic next year. So what else is there to say?

 

I see this on almost a daily basis, heres just a few that ive come across

I mean yeah, just in general, I very much miss when these things came packaged in alt. mode!! I miss unboxing a cool vehicle mode and then having to actually futz with it to see the bot mode!

Sleep better at night knowing they ruined something that someone else enjoys… I guess?

 

It’s just dumb kids chasing clout on social media, still desperately clinging to the headless LeBron bit.

I’m sure there are also some kids who are just genuinely shit people who just want to ruin things for others but that’ll be a small percentage.

 

There's also shitty collectors as well who steal heads. I just saw at a Walmart near me that had every Transformers intact with their heads, a vast selection too, but with only 1 exception. 1 of the 2 Star Raiders Thundertron pack was missing a head on Thundertron. Seems like someone who bought the Voyager Thundertron in the past and wanted the new head sculpt. Also at the same location, I saw a couple of toy swapping on Transformers (over the last year), with the ties and all. Looks like a job done by an adult.

People like that are garbage.

 

I mean... I guess Zoomers have come to realize they will be lonely for the rest of their lives so they needed a new way of saying they got head????  

 

Wow! You can save $6 on this now useless toy! Eliminating the plastic windows would have worked had Hasbro started packaging the toys in altmode. You can’t steal the head off a truck in most cases.

 

Real talk now:
How many people have done this kind of thing to be able to take the picture and complain about windowless boxes?
