New show on Discovery. It is awesome. It is Junkyard Wars and Monster Garage meet video gaming. You have two teams. Each team has one Automobile expert (hot rod builder etc) and an an ex-military weapons expert. The teams are each given a junker auto (one episode it is an old meat delivery truck vs a Ice cream van) and they have to armor and weapon up the vehicles. They are given .50 cal Browning machine guns (and in this ep SEGA Auto shotguns (think ak47 firing shotgun rounds)). They can add other weapons like spikes, etc. Then they hook up a remote control system and cameras to the weapons. They retreat to their respective bunkers and drive/fire the weapons by remote while viewing the carnage on monitors. Lots of big booms.
It's like Battle Bots meets Monster Garage. Pretty awesome, though I wasn't quite sure how a machine gun fit with a medieval theme.
I watched like 15 to 20 minutes of it today,it was somehow more redneckish and shittier than CMT. Of course, that's what I get for watching a show with competitors named "Rusty" and "Cowboy." YeeHah!
I've seen three episodes. Was about time Jimmy SHine finally won one. I noticed he started driving, after the other guy put their ice cream truck on its side. "Good job, Parnelli!"
