    That was actually a clever thing to implement.

    If Darth Vader turned into his own lightsaber and had someone else swing him around, it's logical he'd need some measure of control over the user. It's a matter of synchronization between the living weapon and the person wielding it.

    Did Megatron have control over Starscream in G1 when he turned into a gun? I know he shouted orders at hm, but did he actually control him?

    I don't think it was brought up then, but I'm pretty sure Megatron had control because otherwise Starscream would have carried him around like a reproductive organ.

    The Mini-Cons said they begged the Scavengers to leave Earth but couldn't they have controlled the Scavengers to leave?
