Hey guys, just got Thundertron last night, and I am loving him. But he really needs some weapons to fully bring out the 'pirate captain' feel of him. Namely, he needs a cutlass-type sword, and some sort of pistol (the more flintlock-looking, the better). So I'm looking for suggestions on what to give him. Anything that can fit his 5mm-hole hands will do, even if it's not from a TF. Please no suggestions of 3rd party items, only because I'm a cheap bastard
One of these 3 pistols from MoonBaseTom might be good for him: Pea Shooter DX Blaster Ultra Magnum In my opinion, The Ultra Magnum is the one that suits him!
I actually like the Sword he comes with. I just put it in his left fist with the gold tiger claw facing up towards the arm. Then the spring gives him a nice slashing gimmick. I may give him the capsule arms micron turtles. (nautical) Though the wheeljack Dagger micron in the third set of capsules would be cool with this guy. If you can find a cheap dark of the moon topspin at family dollar or TJmaxx for example. He has four mechtech port pistols than can work without weighing the figure down. I really like the weight of thundertron though. Much closer to the weight of a voyager I'm used to. Got it. The pistol from War for cybertron generations bumblebee or cliffjumper has that Space relic pistol look to it. Or the one from fall of cybertron brawl is nice.
Prime Dreadwing (and by extension, Skyquake) come with a sword that looks good on Thundertron, and can plug into the peg hole on the side of the hip. Assuming Skyquake even makes it out, I'm giving his sword to Thundertron. Not sure on the pistol though.
Thanks for all the suggestions, guys! Currently, I have a saber and pistol from a dollar-store pirate action figure on him, and honestly those ended up looking pretty nice. However, I may see how some of these suggestions look with him when I next dig through the accessories box (especially the suggestions of WFC BB's gun and Dreadwing's sword)
